Phoenix P.O.V
I slowly opened my eyes. I was alone in an all white room. Rad, I'm in the hospital. I groaned and went to touch my neck, it hurt like a mother fucker.
"DON'T!" a nurse that had just walked in exclaimed. "Honey do not touch it." She breathed. I yawned and nodded.
"Yes ma'am. If you don't mind telling me, how long have I been here?"
"Oh about three days." She said looking at her clip board.
"THREE DAYS?! Oh fuck fuck fuck. They probably already left for the next fucking venue." I groaned. The nurse gave me a look then sighed.
"There's a Mr.Biersack here for you he's in the cafeteria." Then she turned and walked out. Bitch. I kind expected Marcus to be here when I woke up but once again it's Andy who's here for me. It was about five minutes before he trudged through the door with a cup of coffee. I quickly shut my eyes, intent on scaring him until he started talking. He took a ragged breathe.
"This all my fucking fault."He whispered. I felt the bed dip next to me. "I'm so sorry." His voice was raspy and raw. I opened my eyes and grabbed his hand gently.
"Jesus Christ." He said putting his hand over his heart. Well...mission accomplished.
"Andy.."I said trailing off. He gripped my hand with both of his.
"You know what they said when I asked if you were gonna make it?" He said sadly.
"What?" I whispered.
"They didn't say I'll do my best or some other encouraging shit, they said. I don't know........... I thought you were gonna die......" He was staring at the ground. I laughed quietly.
"You can't get rid of me that easily." He looked up with a slight half smile. I looked around at the boring sterile room.
"Can I leave soon?" I sighed. He nodded and let go of my hand.
"Yeah, as soon as they release you I'm driving you to the next stop on the tour. Everything's taken care of." He said smiling. He looked at my neck. " You're gonna have a wild scar though." I frowned and pouted a bit.
"That SUCKS." I groaned. He frowned a bit.
"But hey you're still alive. That's all that matters." He grinned. " And scars are cool, they tell stories." I looked down at my lap.
"I don't wanna tell this story Andy." We fell silent and the doctor walked in. He sighed and stood next to my bed.
"Ms. Tredway if I had it my way you wouldn't be leaving for another week or two but Mr. Biersack has made it clear that you have business to attend to. I'll be sending you on your way with a variety of different anti-biotics." I smiled at him.
"Thank-you sir." He nodded and I filled out paper work to release me. I got my medicine and we got out of there as fast as we could.
