Chapter 7

-Daniels POV-

She looked so beautiful. I just couldn't get my eyes off her. That smile, those eyes. Her hair.

From the minute she entered my jaw dropped open , my heart fluttered and my face was as red as a tomato.

Yes, yes I'm talking about Sky. she entered the party with her friend Katty and as soon as I saw her I was mesmerised. it was like my eyeballs were glued to hers but..................
I wasn't the only one, Brian was staring at her as well.

"Sky y-you l-llook s-stunning" Brian stammered.

What does he think about himself. Sky doesn't even like him. This sky also tolerates him so much. I know he's my best friend but he needs to learn how to take a hint.

"You look soo hot!" I said intervening the conversation.

"Danny she dosent look hot she looks gorgeous" Brian interrupted.
There he goes again.

"Thank you" sky said as her face turned red.

"Hey lets get you a drink" I said in attempts of taking sky away from Brian.

"Yea sure" she seemed a little hesitant because I know that she didn't drink but she knew that she would be safe with me.

"Wanna be adventurous?"

" I don't know I mean I've never had alcohol before" she replied.

" Chilll, I'm there"

"Uhh I don't know daniel"

"Babe you're in high school now.. you've gotta be a sport" I said.

I mean I'm not a creep or something but sooner or later sky will definitely have a drink and It would be best if she had her first drink with a guy who isn't trying to get in her pants( like me ).

"Ummm okay I mean it's now or never right" she seemed a little confused.

I nodded and ordered 4 shots each.

She drank them faster than me like she was a pro or something.

"Daymn girl you're fiesty"
" Are you sure that you've never had shots before?" I asked

"That was awesome!" she was high already.

I ordered two more on her request and before I could even say bottoms up.
She had already gulped her share down.

We were having so much fun and She was about to have her last shot when the great Brian came towards us put her glass down.

"Care to join me for a dance madam?" he asked sky while putting his hand out.

"Sure sir" she said putting her hand in his and they strolled away together on the dance floor.

That bastard.

-sky's POV-

I knew that Daniel was staring at me. I knew that he was really jealous when Brian asked me to dance. I saw his eyes turn red but I sorta liked his attention.

He was already drunk when I walked in and after we had those shots I was counting the seconds before his fall. he actually thought that I had never had a drink in my life before. I may seem like the most innocent creature ever but I am a party animal like everyone and plus I could drink alcohol forever and only get tipsy or high. I felt really bad about leaving Daniel there super drunk just to dance with Brian but i couldn't say no.

Animals by maroon 5 was playing and Brian and I danced our ass off. Suddenly there was a change of songs and last first kiss by one direction started playing. We all started slow dancing, Brian pulled me closer and closer until there was no place between us, he wrapped his arms around my waist tight while I rested my arms and head on his shoulder and we swayed with the song....but all I could think of was Daniel and I stared at him from Brian's shoulder while he stared right back at me.

He couldn't take it anymore and he pulled Katty who was standing next to him and asked her to dance with him.

Even though all four of us were slow dancing, it felt like it was only Daniel and I who were there.

"Brian my heels are killing me, I need to sit" I said after the song got over.

"It was a pleasure dancing with you" he smiled, we both got of the dance floor and walked in opposite directions.

I sat down and was struggling to take my heels off when suddenly I felt a set of cold hands on my feet.

"Let me help you" spoke a familiar voice.

Daniel sat down and took my heels off , soon got up and he sat right beside me.

"You look beautiful" he smirked.

I blushed.

"I think that you are absolutely stunning" he moved a piece of hair from my face and tucked it in behind my ear.

"I think that you are absolutely drunk" I giggled.

He didn't reply but instead got closer to me and stared right into my eyes and started playing with the ends on my hair.

We started talking and somehow the topic suddenly included his family.

"So what does your mom do?" I asked.

"Gets beaten up" he spoke so softly but I heard it clearly.

"What?"

"Uhh nothing I don't like to talk about this" a certain sadness fell over his cheerful face.

" You can trust me. " I said putting my hands in his and interlocking them.

"Well....my father used to hit my mother and now they are getting a divorce"
It sounded like he blamed himself for it. His head bent down in sadness.

" Hey hey listen to me, this isn't your fault" I said pulling his chin up with my hand so that he could look me in the eye.

"It is not your fault." I repeated.

He looked at me like that was all he needed... someone to tell him that it wasn't his fault.

He stared at me for a second and then suddenly crashed his lips into mine. He moved his hand through my hair and I did that same. our lips moved perfectly in sync. His hand moved from my hair to my neck. A while later he moved his face away giving me a last peck on my lips.

"Wow" he said biting his lip a bit.

I was going to say the same but Katty came and interrupted us.

"Sky we're very late, moms pissed"
Before I could answer or say bye to Daniel, she pulled me, I quickly picked my shoes up and we ran towards the car.

"What was that with Daniel ?" she asked as soon as she started the car.

"I'll tell you everything at home" I blushed.

I rolled down the window and relived that moment in my mind repeatedly.

All I could think about was doing it again.
