R.Andrew's Point of View
Umuulan, umuulan na naman. I wonder of those homeless people.
"Sir Drew, naku, gising na po kayo. May pupuntahan daw po kayo." kumakatok na si Mommy. Yes, I even call Aling Tere as Mommy. "Pasok, Mom, I told you it's just Drew." "Tawag ka na ng Mama mo. Ayusin mo na sarili mo." "Okey."
Umuulan pero aalis. Is my mother alright??
Hindi na ako nag almusal, i just took a bath and go downstairs."Pupunta tayo sa opisina ng Papa mo." "With me?! For what?!" Syempre, nagulat ako, dun lang pala, bakit kasama pa ako?? "Company matters." I just nodded. Mommy Tere is looking at me na parang sinasabing sumama-ka-na. One last look to her, and.. "Let's go anak." Ano ba kinalaman ko sa kompanya??
Malapit na kami sa building ng kompanya ni Papa, when someone caught my attention. I thought of those homeless people. Is she one of them?? But why is she smiling? I looked at her get up. She's just neat. Her smiles can fix those who are broken. That smile could ligh.....psh...what am I thinking??
Bumaba na kami ng kotse.
"Umuna ka na sa loob, Ma. Susunod ako." "What are you up to?" "Susunod nga ako diba?" "Okey."Hindi ko din alam kung bakit hindi agad ako pumasok sa loob. But this girl who seemed to love the rain is coming near.
"Hayy. Rain." ngiting ngiti yung babae. "Paano mo nalaman ang pangalan ko?" I said. "Haha. Rain ang pangalan mo?? Di ko yun alam. I'm talking to the nature. Can't you see, it's raining?" "I'm not blind." "I see." she smiled. "I don't even know why my Dad brought me up to this building, pero, salamat at hinayaan nya ako mag enjoy muna dito sa labas. Sabi pa nya, arrangement of something. Anong alam ko dun??" dagdag pa nya. I stared blankly ahead. Biglang may tumunog na cellphone. "Yes, Dad. Coming. Okey. Sure."
"Pst. Rain. Akyat na ako. Bye."
"Sabay na tayo." "Hahaha." tumawa sya. What's funny?? "Seems like someone strange is going with me? Hihi." "Yung ulan pala, pero aakyat na din ako." "Okey, cold Rain." She just called me cold? But it feels good to talk to this wet brat. She looks innocent.
"Ow, there you are son."my father babbled as I enter that room. "You're son? He obviously looks like his mother, Mr. Valencia." the man with eyeglasses said. "So where is..???",my mother asked the man. "My daughter is coming, too. Pasaway kasi talaga yun pero she's always a replica of her mother. Kind hearted as always." May nasesense ako na hindi maganda dito. Umupo ako sa tabi ni Mama. "Rain Andrew, tama ba iho?" "Yes, Sir." "Matutuwa sayo ang anak ko."
The door opened and someone entered. "Dad, okay now?" she smiled. "Ow, hi Rain! You're here, too." "You know each other?!" Ma, Pa, and the man asked in chorus. "Of course not."sabi ko. "Of course, yes, Dad." "There's no way you knew me." "There's yes way. Dad, kanina lang magkausap kami." she uttered. "Hahaha, nakakatuwa naman at magkakilala na sila di'ba Mr. Valencia??" "Madali na pala eh", sabi ni Mama. "What's everyone up to??" sabi ko. "Hindi mo alam Rain??" "As if alam mo? Sabi mo kanina you don't know why you're Dad bring you into this place??" may nakakairita palang side tong babaeng to. -____- "I'm just kidding Rain, ang sungit mo pala." "Maupo ka muna, Celine." Celine is the name. This weird brat.
"Ano ba meron Dad??" "An arrangement iha.", my mother said. "Arrangement ng ano Ma?" "Kasal nyo." "What?!!" sabay pa kmi nagsalita ni Celine. Anong kasal? Ano ba kayo? Eto ba yung company matters?" "Oo, anak. These two institution of ours will be the biggest one if you get married." "I don't think this is a good idea. The companies can merge without the marriage thingy, Dad. Besides, I'm too young." sabi ni Celine. Ahh, kasi bata pa sya, yun lang problema nya?? Tumanda man sya, hindi yun magandang ideya. "Kahit tumanda ka, hindi yun maganda." -_____-
"Rain!!" Yung babae, napamulat sa sinabi ko. "Uuwi na ako." Gusto ko matulog ulit. "Rain Andrew Valencia. You. Are. Not. Going. Home. Yet." "Hmm, sige Dad. Let's try. Daig pa nya ako magreklamo. He act like a menopaused woman." Napalingon ako sakanya. "Don't you have boyfriend or something?!" I widened my eyes. "Aww..you have a girlfriend? May nagkamali sayo." Nakakapikon to ah. "Stop arguing, calm down the two of you. Ayusin natin 'to. Normal lang sa umpisa na ganyan kayo." "Celine, anak. Wag ka na makulit." "Where's justice?" I murmured. "Hustisya daw, Dad." "I heard it princess. Let's start. Both of you. Try going out. Date or something. Do what couples are supposed to do." Nakakapikon. 2nd year college pa lang ako. Tapos ganito. "Drew, Andrew rather. Celine and you goes to the same school so maganda na sabay kayo uuwi. Hatid mo si Celine, or dinner with your family. Okay?" The hell I do?? Tumango ako. -____- "Wala ka naman daw girlfriend sabi ni Papa at Mama mo, I think, this will work. Haha" What's so funny? At tsaka, di ko nga nakikita yang babaeng yan sa school."Celine, iha, where do you want to eat by now?"
"I'm alright Tita. Wherever you want too, i'll be okey." "Any problem with me, Rain?" I looked away. "Sa bahay na lang tayo kumain. Magpapaluto na lang tayo kay Tere." Lumingon ako ulit sa katabi ko. Hiningahan nya yung bubog ng bintana tapos gumuhit sya ng smiley. I'm going to sleep, masarap matulog pag umuulan.
"Wow, ang ganda ng kwarto mo Rain. No wonder Rain ang pangalan mo. Astig ng view dito sa bintana, kapag sumisikat ang araw o umulan man, kitang kita. Sarap tumambay dito." Sino ba't?? Daldal nang daldal. 10 minutes pa lang siguro ako napapaidlip tapos may asungot dito sa kwarto ko. "The hell are you doing here kid? Ni-lock ko yung pinto ng kwarto ko. Paano ka nakapasok dito?" She raised her right hand holding key. "Mommy Tere gave me this." at ngiting ngiti siya. "Who gave you any permission to call my Mom as your Mommy, too?" "She told me to do so." "Okey, don't ruin me. I'm about to sleep. Mess up on the floor with things you want or whatever, but don't disturb my sleep." "Masungit talaga. Naisip ko kung bakit type ka ni Nicole, eh ang pangit pangit mo naman." "I don't care. Get out now and stop messing around my house." Sinong Nicole yun. Oo, bahay ko to. Mayabang ba? Sorry ha. But that's the truth. "You're house? What's yours are mine now and then." "Get out or I'll kill you." "Aww, you do? Haha. I'm scared. Goodbye." Lumabas ang asungot at syempre, tutulog na ako.
Celine's Point of View
Hey, Celine here. Messing around. Hihihi. Nah, not really, Dad told me to go here so I did. Rain? That little, este, big cold and hard Rain. Trip ko siya. Hahaha. My sissy Nicole likes him. Ano ba meron sa supladong yun? Mabigyan nga ng advice si Nicole. Hehehe. As far as I know, malaking kompanya din nang hawak ng pamilya nina Rain.
