"Where were you?" He asked mad like never before.
"I...I... I was nowhere. I was in school."
"Oh sure you were. But where were you after school finished? And don't you dare to try and lie to me do you understand me?" He asked really mad and angry now. I knew it that whatever I will say now he won't believe me. But I have to try.
"I was in a library doing some researching for school." I said and tried to sound like I'm not laing, but of course my dad knows me when I'm laing and when I don't. He come closer to me now furious a lot and slapped my cheek like every time I lied to him. Sure it hurted but I didn't cry I got use to that.
"Go to your room and don't you dare to go out of it until dinner is ready and dress up we will have guests." He said calmer now.
"Whatever father." I said and went upstairs. I locked myself inside of room and silently sit on my bed which is close to a window through you can see a little park with nature and some kids playing and laughing around.
Nicole's POV
Why I can't be like those kids? Why are my parents like this? What did I ever do wrong that I deserve this? Why I can't have my freedom like others? Why my father is acting like this? Ugh its just so unfair I'm trying my best to make everyone happy but...but nobody is asking am I happy or what I want... I started to cry now when someone knocked on my doors.
"Yes, who it's?" I asked. Trying to cover that I was crying.
"It's me mom. Can I come in honey?"
"Why?"
"I just want to check if you're okay?"
"Oh so now you care?" I said angry again and sarcastic.
"Nicole watch your language. How dare you talk to me like that?"
"What do you mean how I dare talk to you like that? How you dare let your own husband to slap me?! You know what I hate you both! You two never asked me what I want or what I like and love. You two care only for your selfish asses. You know what get out of my room. I don't want to hear anything from you anymore until dinner is ready do you understand me?" I said angry now and push my mother out of the room.
