1- Shouldn't Be!

I cannot waver this, It cannot be.
Do you know what our love is? It shouldn't be.
I'm the lover you're the lovee!
I love her so you can't have me.
You have him, You can only be my dream.

Where's the bin, where's the broom?
We have to sweep away before we brood
Over these feelings, before they bloom.
It may be infatuation, it may be lust,
Whatever the situation,we shouldn't trust.
Like graduations this should pass
After all, Good things never last.

We're just two wrongs that won't make it right!
This dawning of feelings won't make it into the night.
By dusk it'll be you and I, Not Us!
Whatever past we have, will turn into dust.
Whatever feelings we have will rot away and rust!

We can't be Lovers nor can we be friends,
In any type of way we do not match.
Let's keep each other at bay and let our real baes be bees that bring honey in our cups of tea.
Let's be strangers, let's not be anything greater, let's just be pipe dreams.
Because YOU and I just shouldn't be!
