Kol was bored in New Orleans. Sure he could use magic again and had a certain witch crushing on him, but he needed entertainment; he no longer had compulsion and the good looks of Kaleb, the warlock whose body he was inhabiting, only got him so far. He wanted his real body back but first he had to get revenge on a certain unsuspecting doppelganger. Elena wouldn't recognise him as himself, she would see him as Kaleb Miller the new exchange student at her college from Louisiana. Kol thought that this was an ingenious idea and a perfect way to get revenge. He would go tonight, Davina was with Marcel, Finn was slowly suffocating in a box and the rest of his family were going to meet his niece. Klaus had no idea that he knew that Hope was alive and Kol intended to keep it that way; he wanted to see Hope but before that happened he needed to avenge his own death.
