Originally, I was never going to post this--but for nearly two years it has been sitting fully completed and untouched, collecting dust so I said: Why not? This book is very heart warming and lighthearted, but it also deals with emotional stuff. Alcoholism and drugs play a huge role, so please be aware of that. It has emotional scenes, romance, and of course angsty teens who you will all love. So, enjoy!

S Y N O P S I S
At just fourteen years old, Dax Matthews was introduced to a world of alcohol, drugs and parties. Now, that's all he knows and without those things... He is nothing. While trying to keep his spot as captain of the football team, keep up with his popularity and also deal with his father who is slowly dying at home, Dax is loosing himself. And although he may seem like he has everything under control, he doesn't.
Stella West is new in town and like Dax, her life isn't too great. She's used to pain. Having lost her mother at a young age, she grew too fast caring for her grieving, alcoholic father. And even though she doesn't really know Dax, she can tell that no matter how hard he pretends to be fine, he really isn't. And she wants to help.
So when a sudden, unplanned agreement between the two lands Stella the role of pretending to be Dax's girlfriend, Stella is quick to say yes. It's a perfect way for her to get close to Dax and discover what pain lies beneath the boy everyone thinks is perfect. But as they find their lives whirling together--it becomes hard for the two to untangle the lies from the truths.

Now that we're at the end: What do you guys think? I am beyond excited to finally be sharing this story with the public, and cannot wait to see what you guys think of Dax and Stella's story once the chapters start rolling in.
