000. INTRODUCTION.

𝗈𝗈𝗼. 𝐋𝐄𝐓'𝐒 𝐆𝐄𝐓 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓, Delilah Deveraux enjoyed learning. The mere idea of heading back to Hogwarts at the end of each summer break excited her to no end and while it baffles her best friends, she guesses that's what makes her one of the smartest Ravenclaws at Hogwarts but her classmates often thought that made her snobby and stuck up. That was so far from the truth — I mean, her best friends were the mischievous Weasley twins and a Slytherin.

𝗈𝗈𝗼.             𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐋𝐀𝐇 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐀 𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐃 𝐒𝐎𝐔𝐋 with a clever mind and she didn't have a filter so she understood why her classmates thought the way they did. Here was the thing though, Delilah seemed to always have a smile on her face. It was what attracted Cedric Diggory to her, though she didn't exactly know the guy she harbored a crush on felt the same way. And what started as little letters to one another the summer before Delilah's third year became an annual thing every break their school had (not that they minded, they loved talking to each other.)

𝗈𝗈𝗼.             𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐎𝐍𝐋𝐘 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐁𝐋𝐄𝐌𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐈𝐑 𝐁𝐔𝐃𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 friendship was one, her best friends couldn't stand Cedric for some reason and two, their two houses were rivals in quidditch and seeing as they were both on their houses quidditch team, it became impossible to have a simple face-to-face conversation. But starting Delilah's fifth year, things were going to change, Delilah had just wished it hadn't taken Sirius Black escaping Azkaban to do so.
