Ji Hyun's POV

I feel bad for lying to them but I have no choice. I must find the grimoire and give it to Jae Won oppa before he did something to my parents. I'm sure that this grimoire is an important thing to these guys. That's why I can't trust them with this mission. They might be disagree and refuse to help me. I can't risk that.

Right after Kris left, I searched the entire room to find the grimoire but, it's nowhere to be found.

"Where is it?" I searched through every shelves, cupboard, and corner but, there is nothing.

I decided to search the living room two hours later, waiting all of them to fall asleep. It was past midnight and I continued my searching on the living room. I opened the door slowly and walk towards the living room without make any noise.

I searched every corner of the living room but it can't be found. Where is that thing exactly? I started to get tired and sleepy. These past few days were just drained my energy.

I was about to lean my back on the couch when I heard someone walk towards the living room.

"Ji Hyun-ssi?", he called. I can't see his face because there is not much light. He turned on the main light and it blind me for a second. Right after I adjusted my sight, I can see who it was.

"Eo! Luhan-ssi?", I said while pretending to not look shock at all. I hope that he fell for it.

"Yes. What are you doing at these hour? I thought you were asleep", he asked again as he make his way towards me.

"Trouble sleeping and I thought you were sleeping too", I lied and asked him the same. I never expected that he still awake at these hour. I hope he didn't suspect anything.

"Nightmares", he answered calmly. "Can I?", he asked to sit beside me.

"Yeah. Of course". He sat down and lean his back on the couch.

He has quite a beautiful feature. If Kris looks manly with his face, Luhan looks more like a beautiful girl but he has his own charm. [📢]

"What?", he asked as he realize that I was observing him.

"Um.. Nothing", I answered while turned my face as fast as I can.

He laughs lightly. "So... Trouble sleeping huh?"

"Yeah. I'm not an adjustable kind of people", I explained. Well that one is a truth.

He nods. "I'm so sorry for your loss you know. Your parents, your fiancé, and your friend. It must be hard".

I went silent for a moment before I nods my head. "But you'll get through this and we're gonna help you. I will help you", he added.

"Yeah, I know. Thanks. How about you? Nightmares right?", I changed the subject before he asked any question about my parents or relatives.

He scoffed before he answers, "Yeah. Must be funny right?"

"Nah. I think it's natural to feel scared".

"You do?"

"Yeah. That's what makes us human you know. When you don't feel it at all, it is the day that you're not even human".

"Hmm..", he mumbled. "You're always this kind you know? Even when we were a kids, back in Exo Planet".

I stupefied for a second before I realize that it is my chance to dig the information I need to get the grimoire.

"Really? Tell me how I was back then. I mean if I was a princess, do I have a prince?", I pretend to be excited.

He laughs, "Your father is the only king that rule the entire planet. So aside of the king of Agrian, there is no prince".

"Huh... So, how about love interest. Do I have one?"

"Well about that. I don't remember exactly".

"What? Why? I thought you remember everything back in Exo Planet".

"No. Not everything. We remember about where we coming from, we remember how it was back then, we remember you, but we can't remember our past life. Since we were a little, we knew that we were knights and our only purpose is to find you. We remember your face, your voice, even your smell", he explained.

"My smell?", I scoffed and pretend to sniff my body.

He laughs, "You always smell like roses".

"Hmm... Not my type now. So, when were you started to remember all of this? How does it feel?"

"It's different for all of us. I got it when I was seven and it was sucks sometime. When all of your friends have their own dreams to be anything they like to be, we already have our path ahead of us", he sighed.

"I'm sorry, I didnt mean to--".

"It's okay. It didn't last much longer. It changed when I can control my power and you know-- play a little bit with it", he smirked lightly and makes me laughs.

"So, you've been looking for me right after that?"

"Not yet. We started twelve years ago before we made a plan to join our agency one by one. We realized that music is the only thing that can travel through the countries. Beside our voice and dance skill isn't that bad so..", he shrugged.

I laughs, "Yeah, I've seen you all in action and it was great". I gave him a smile before I started to pull him back in my subject, "Twelve years of searching, is there any clue that shows any other survivors? Someone or something?"

He frowned, "No. I think there is no other survivors".

"Oh... Okay", I said try to not look disappointed at his answer. "Oh look it's already two in the morning. We should get back to bed. We have a magic lesson tomorrow right?"

There is no information I can get again so, I think it's time to skip the chit chat.

"Yeah. Sure". He still sit when I stood up. His face shows that he has something on his mind right now.

I was going to leave him there and walk towards my room before he called me.

"Ji Hyun-ssi"

I turned around, "Yes?"

"I don't know about the others but, I found something about an artifact that found twenty years ago. They said that that artifact was what left from a meteor shower that destroy the Earth millennium ago along with all of the creatures in it like dinosaurs and others. I still have no idea what kind of artifact it is but, they said that it look like a book and it has a hexagons symbol on it", he explained still with his expression that I didn't understand.

"Do you think it was ours?", I asked full of curiosity.

"No", he answered shortly. "I think it's yours".

I can't sleep that night. I can only think about that book although Luhan told me to not think about it seriously. He said he will help me find it but, is he going to help me if he know that I'm going to give that book to the enemy? They put their faith in me, hoping that I can take them back to their planet and give them their salvation but, I'm not a hero. I'm just a normal girl that wanted her parents to come back safely. And that is what I'm going to do.
