The birds were chirping under the sunlight rays falling from the gaping clouds.
Felt like the god grant his wish by clearing the day. The clock was ticking closer to the time he had to reach the designated location.
The rivers lightened the flow with a new glaze from the warmth of sunlight.
The busied city resumed their work again, which the rain had delayed for a while but as for being a weekend, everyone received a chance to intake the sunshine for quality time with loved ones.
Countless footsteps splashed over wet streets and roads.
It was a park she decided, near a station and a shrine crowded with couples, families and friends. Everyone seemed wanting some sunshine. So was Akio, waiting beside its lake checking on his wristwatch while fixing his folded blue shirt's sleeves. It was clearly a perfect place for a date, for being with her. His eyes were searching only for her, it was ten minutes late after all. There was excitement combined with nervousness.  His eyes rolled across the benches and people when all of a sudden they struck to what they desired
It was Tanaka, wearing in a bold black knees length dress with her hair let loose to a side resting over the front.
Nothing more then a smooth red lipstick and golden earrings to keep a match with the golden necklace she wore. It was the first time he ever saw her outside office uniform and couldn't get his eyes off.
Nothing else was visible, his heart was pounding so hard that it felt like a ticking bomb which could explode any second now, it was astonishing but saddening too.
Why did someone like her had to suffer?.

Her eyes were searching around for him, amongst the crowded park until she finally caught him beside the lake in front of a tree. She smiled out with a wide wave. Her black heels made a rhythmic sound hurrying over to him, while he awaited for her arrival.
"Did I make you wait long?" she gently asked.
He shook his head as a decline. She was relieved.
"I did take allot of time getting ready" her voice slightly lowered as her gentle hand slid a loose hair behind her ear.
Maybe she was expecting a comment. It was sure she was, he had to say something at least.
"Y-Your looking cute".
She smiled out with a gratitude as it filled her satisfaction.
He had never considered before, the fact how his behaviour alters whenever she comes around, like a leap of emotions. What he finds in her, an escape from the mindless cursing world to different sphere.

They began with a walk around the park, to feel the smooth breeze and explore each other's company while starting with the most interesting stall the park  could offer, a crepe stall. The minute she noticed crepe, her expressions altered immediately: from a beautiful mature lady to a young girl who is head over heels for sweets. But along with excitement she still did not lose her cool. Her face got a brighter smile as expected from a sweet's fan. They head over for chocolate strawberry crapes, both for the same flavour. They nibbled it over while  walked beside the lake provided with couple boating and seats to enjoy the setting sun hide behind hills and its reflection glitter over the calm waves.
Their time was delighted even more because of each other's accompany, they got to spend time for which nothing else mattered. Both of them treasured the moment till the fullest.
In spite of smiles and laughter, there indeed was a strange sensation that lurked at his heart whenever she smiled, whenever she held his hand without thinking, whenever she acted like a high schooler, it shimmered a spark inside him, something that was very new to recognize.

Apart from munching crapes, running down the wind, acting dominant around her so other guys doesn't stalk her there was nothing else to concern. There was no boundaries, there was no age difference, no past that followed, no deeds that cursed, no tears that groomed. It was just the two, enjoying the time when they still could because---
It was the best time of their life.

The day came to an end, so did their date. Street light switched to glow over the dark street where the both of them stood against each other. It was time for them to part. Her time to leave for home had arrived.  It was the chapter of a date where usually couples reveal their feelings to embrace each other for ever before one leaves the sight.  She had halted under a street light facing him with her eyes struck to his. Was this the point where it happens? His nervous rate took a level up, her expression couldn't say more than that she was truly happy but why was there something missing?, something not usual?.

"I had a blast today".

"Nakamura-kun?"

"Yes?"

"Please Forget about me".
