Yay, a new story! And not a one-shot. Since there are no Mikus, Rins, or Lens that have a birthday today on April 7th, I decided to write this. Hope you enjoy the first chapter!
The date was April 7th, 2020. Camilla Cortez [Hatsune Miku Cute] is at her house coughing up a storm.
Hatsune Miku Cute: What is wrong with me?
She went over to her phone and called her best friend Corinne Wheeler [Kagamine Rin Cute].
Kagamine Rin Cute: (after a coughing fit) Hey, Camilla.
Hatsune Miku Cute: Are you sick?
Kagamine Rin Cute: Yeah, just a little bit. But I bet it's a cold.
Hatsune Miku Cute: (coughs)
Kagamine Rin Cute: You're sick too?
Hatsune Miku Cute: Yeah, how are we both sick?
Kagamine Rin Cute: I don't know.
Hatsune Miku Cute: We should see if we have the coronavirus.
Kagamine Rin Cute: The coronavirus? No way! I still think it's a cold.
Hatsune Miku Cute: Well, we should still get tested, just to be safe.
Kagamine Rin Cute: Yeah, you're right.
Meanwhile, at the hospital, Veronica Nongawitz [Spacy Nurse] was doing some testing on the two girls.
Hatsune Miku Cute: Well, Ronnie?
Spacy Nurse: Girls, I have some good news and bad news.
Kagamine Rin Cute: Give us the bad news first.
Spacy Nurse: Alright. The bad news is that both of you have the coronavirus.
Hatsune Miku Cute: Oh no. That can't be good.
Kagamine Rin Cute: But what about the good news?
Spacy Nurse: The good news is that your cases are not as severe as the modules that have died over 2 weeks ago.
Hatsune Miku Cute: So we're going to live?
Spacy Nurse: For now. It'll be best if you stay here. We don't want you girls giving the virus to other people.
Kagamine Rin Cute: Okay. We can totally do that. But what about my boyfriend? He gets so worried about me.
Spacy Nurse: There's a phone near you so that you can call him.
Kagamine Rin Cute: Okay.
Hatsune Miku Cute: You have a boyfriend?!
Kagamine Rin Cute: Well, duh!
Spacy Nurse: Okay, I'll leave you 2 alone. I don't want to catch the virus either.
She left to care for other patients.
Hatsune Miku Cute: What your boyfriend's name?
Kagamine Rin Cute: His name is Bradley Hillary [Bad Boy].
Hatsune Miku Cute: Isn't he the drummer from that band? What was it called again?
Kagamine Rin Cute: It's called Mindsets. And yes.
Hatsune Miku Cute: How long have you known each other?
Kagamine Rin Cute: Ever since we were kids.
Hatsune Miku Cute: Wow. So, you grew up together.
Kagamine Rin Cute: Pretty much. I should call him.
A phone was heard in the Hillary house.
Mr. Hillary: Bradley, go answer that for me, would you?
Bad Boy: Got it, Dad.
He answered the phone.
Bad Boy: Hello?
Kagamine Rin Cute: (after a coughing fit) Hi, Brad.
Bad Boy: Whoa, you don't sound very good.
Kagamine Rin Cute: Oh, I'll be fine. I just got tested positive for the coronavirus.
Bad Boy: You did?!
Kagamine Rin Cute: Yeah, but I'll be okay. Veronica told me and Camilla that our illness is not as severe as those modules that previously died.
Bad Boy: Okay, good. But I should come and visit you.
Kagamine Rin Cute: No no no! There's no need for that. You stay where you are.
Bad Boy: Cori, I'm worried about you.
Kagamine Rin Cute: I told you, I'm fine.
Bad Boy: I'm coming anyway.
He hung up the phone.
Bad Boy: Dad, is it okay if I see my girlfriend at the hospital?
Mr. Hillary: Why is she there?
Bad Boy: She has the coronavirus.
Mr. Hillary: She does?
Bad Boy: Yeah, and so does Camilla.
Mr. Hillary: Okay, you can go see her. Just remember to put on your gear.
Bad Boy: Thanks, Dad.
He put on his face mask and gloves and headed out the door.
