You were pissed. So pissed. Your, ex now, boss had called you about five minutes ago to tell you that your position at your job had been terminated because of pay cuts, and since you was the youngest, it was your job that they got rid of.

To say you were mad wasn't the word, you were livid! You had bills to pay! A house to keep! How were you going to pay for groceries? Would this mean that you would have to go back to live with your parents? After a few months of being independent would you really have to cave in so quickly?

"No!" You exclaimed, "but I'll definitely have to get a new job as soon as I can," you muttered to yourself, walking around the kitchen to make some food while thinking about where you were going to find a new job, not many places would accept a student fresh out of a college, and with the fact that they got fired from their last job, this was going to make it a nightmare to find a new one.

After searching online for an hour or so to see if there were any open positions around in your area, you heard something slam against your living room window, being the curious person that you are, you went outside to check what it was.

It was the newspaper. Before going to retrieve it, you smiled at the boy who was on his bike that threw the paper to you as he rode away. Checking out all the main stories on the first page, you walked back into your house and closed the door behind you. The thing that caught your eye was the title "HELP WANTED" in a blacked-out box accompanied with a picture of Freddy Fazbear, the article read:

"Family pizzeria looking for a security guard to work the nightshift. 12 am to 6 am.

Monitor camera, ensure safety of equipment and animatronic characters.

Not responsible for injury/dismemberment.

$120 a week.

To apply call

1-888-FAZ-FAZBEAR."

Now, $120 a week was way better than what you were getting at your old job, in fact, it was DOUBLE your old pay and the nightshift sounded like heaven, you were never really a morning person and usually preferred to stay up until early hours of the morning and to sleep most of the day anyway, so this was the perfect job.

Even the slightly creepy "not responsible for injury/dismemberment" didn't scare you off, maybe an old employee accidentally fell or something and tried to sue the company you thought to yourself, you would never know what had happened to cause the management to put that in the advertisement for the job but you guessed it wasn't really that serious and was down to petty reasons.

It was your lucky day! Well, lucky considering you had just been booted from your old job, and also the fact that you hadn't even applied for it yet, but still, lucky enough to find basically a job that practically catered to your needs.

You called the number that was on the newspaper and after a few rings, you got sent though to a tired sounding man.

"Hello?" the man had asked, probably expecting a prank call or something along those lines. "Hello!" You answered confidently, "I was just calling because I saw something in the newspaper this morn-" the man cut you off effectively shouting, "IT'S NOT TRUE!" down the phone to you, "DON'T BELIEVE IT! I PROMISE YOU IT'S ALL LIES! THE MEDIA HATE US!"

You pulled your phone away from your ear to put it on speakerphone instead, the volume of the man's voice has nearly caused your eardrum to shatter, you waited until the man had finished his outburst before you spoke again, "I was actually calling about the job you apparently have available that was in the newspaper, I have no idea what you're talking about sir, sorry," "Oh," was all you could hear in response before you could even think about his rant, he had started talking again.

"Well, in that case then sure, you have the job, you do know where the pizzeria is don't you?" You was shocked for a few seconds before you recovered, wasn't there going to be an interview or anything before you got the job? Apparently not...although you had these thoughts running through your mind, you didn't miss a beat, "Yes I do, is there anything I need to bring?"

The man answered back immediately, "Not really, just yourself, you can bring some snacks if you want, arrive at the pizzeria at 11 pm so that I can show you around the place and tell you what you need to do during your shift, you will also get a pre-recorded phone call at the start of your shift too, I'll give you your uniform once you get here, just send me a text to what size you need, that's all you need to know, one last thing, what's your name? Just so I know it's you when you turn up later."

You answered him saying "(Y/N) (L/N)" to which the man answered "Okay (Y/N), mine is Jeremy, I hope to see you tonight, have a good rest of your day."

After you both had said goodbye, he hung up. Looking back at your phone you saw that you had a few hours before you had to arrive at the pizzeria and so you decided to have a shower, some dinner and to go to your local shop to stock up on snacks to take to your new job.

By the time you had finished stocking up your bag, you had half an hour before you were told to be at the pizzeria so you locked up your house and drove to Freddy's, with your mind preoccupied about all the new experiences this new job could give you...
