Can I fix my mistakes? [A BNHA story]

Chapter One: How it all started

~ Eleven years ago ~

"Come on, Shoto!" It's late at night. "We aren't his masterpieces." Shoto looks at his older brother then to his other two siblings. "Shoto, if you don't leave now you'll just be hurt for the rest of your life."

"But what about Fuyumi and Natsuo?" Shoto asks as the oldest of the three brothers sighs. "What if papa hurts them when we leave? We won't be here to protect them."

"Don't worry Shoto. Go with Toya. Natsuo and I are going to be fine." Shoto starts crying. "Shoto, everything is going to be okay."

"O-okay I'll go." Shoto says then they hear their father enter the front door. "Toya, when will we leave?"

"Tonight. Right at midnight." Shoto nods as their father enters the room they are in and grabs Shoto's arm.

"It's time to train, Shoto." Their father is the number 2 hero, Endeavor. Shoto doesn't like going to train. Endeavor never goes easy on him even if Shoto begs him to take it easy on him. Endeavor never listens and he just hits Shoto harder then before.

It was finally midnight and the siblings said their goodbyes before Toya and Shoto left forever. Shoto didn't know how he and Toya was going to live. They didn't have a lot of money nor a house nor food. The two boys are going to survive on their own forever or a hero would help them find a place to live. They found an abandoned building and stayed there for the night.

"Shoto. Shoto wake up." Shoto wakes up to Toya holding three boxes of hair dye. "Would you rather dye your hair completely white or red or black?"

"Can only the red be black?" Toya nods and starts dyeing Shoto's left half of his hair black. Shoto had found a mask last night that covers the left side of his face. Shoto puts the mask on, to his and Toya's surprise the mask stayed on Shoto's face. The mask didn't have anything to keep it in place. It just stayed.

"Shoto, when did you get that mask?" Toya hasn't seen Shoto find that mask last night. Shoto explains that he found it while he was taking a look around. Toya was surprised that the mask actually covers up the scar that is on his baby brother's face.

~ Present day ~

Eleven years has passed and Toya is a wanted criminal while Shoto is a wanted kidnapper. Shoto has tried to murder someone once but it didn't go very well. Shoto wanted people to know he is a dangerous guy but when he went to kill someone, he fell flat on his face so Toya had to take the kill. Toya tells Shoto he is better at torturing people then killing them. Shoto never uses his quirk, he actually forgot about his quirk after he told himself he wanted to keep it hidden from society.

Toya told himself that Shoto is going to eventually think he is quirkless and that Endeavor kicked him out for it. Shoto had already gone insane. Toya could tell because Shoto's right hand would be twitching every now and again. Shoto never noticed that his right twitches, he only notices it when he is trying to sleep at night or when he has a nap during the day.

Shoto started to wear black eyeshadow in his right eye and Toya doesn't understand why Shoto ever wears it. Toya has been going by Dabi for years now and Shoto still doesn't have a villain name yet. He just tells his victims to call him 'master' or 'lord'. Shoto and Toya are taking a stroll through Musutafu when Shoto notices a building upon a hill.

"Dabi?" Toya looks at Shoto. "What is that place?" Shoto points at top hero academy in Japan. "I never noticed it until today."

"Well, S. That is UA. It's the #1 ranked high school for heroics." Shoto nods. He only calls Toya by his actual name when they are at their hideout alone.

"I wish I can go there and be a hero but I have a criminal record." Shoto says sadly as the brothers continue their walk. "Dabi, there is our target." Shoto walks up behind the person, grabs his knife from his pocket and holds it up to the person's neck. "Make any type of noise and I'll slice your throat."

The victim nods his head slowly. "I promise, sir."

"Please call me 'Master'." The green haired male nods. Shoto and Toya take the male to their hideout. One they got to the hideout Shoto took the male to the torture chamber. "What weapon should I use first?" Shoto looks at his victim.

"Can't you just use your quirk?" Shoto sighs as he grabs a black whip. Shoto turn and looks at the man's big green eyes.

"I'm quirkless actually." The victim gasps as Shoto walks closer. "Dabi told me I actually have a quirk but I don't believe him. Also your hair looks really soft."

"Well you can touch it if you like. I don't mind." Shoto walks up to the other male and since he never tied the male's hands, the male grabbed his right arm and placed Shoto's hand in his hair. "What do you look like without that mask? You don't have to show me."

"Promise me that you won't take a picture or tell anyone about me." The male nods and Shoto sighs. "I'm going to tell you who I am now so please put your phone on the floor and slide it towards me." The male did as the villain said and slid his phone towards Shoto.

"Would you like my name first?" Shoto nods. "I'm Izuku Midoriya, I aim to be a pro hero."

"I'm Shoto Todoroki, youngest child of Endeavor. I ran away with the oldest child of Endeavor eleven years ago. I faked my death and never took this mask off when I'm in public."

"So Todo—"

"Call me Shoto instead when it is only us and call me S in public, please." Shoto then takes his mask off.

"Oh my gosh! Are you okay?"

"Hey, S, is everything okay in there?" Toya's voice was heard on the other side of the door. Shoto sighs then tells him that everything's okay and that he just hit his foot on the table.

"My mother poured boiling water on my face. Grab your phone and follow me." Shoto puts his mask back on and exits the room with Izuku following behind after grabbing his phone. "I'm going to get you out."

"Why are you letting me go?" Izuku asks as Shoto sighs.

"If you stay here you will die. From bleeding, starving or from my brother's hands." Shoto says as they reach the doors. "Now go quick." Shoto hands Izuku a piece of paper with his phone number on it. Well more like Toya's number. "Message me sometime."
