Me and the boys were together at our usual spot at the park, and all was calm and as it is. In the corner of my eye, I noticed my phone light up and start ringing with the contact 'Harper'. I simply declined it and went back to paying attention to the boys but they all seemed to have noticed me declining the call.

"What's going on with you guys?" Andy asked.

"I don't want to speak to him."

"Why?" They all asked at different timings

"He's constantly worrying about me." Saying it out loud made me realize how ridiculous it sounded but I hated knowing about my illness and all Harper seemed to do was remind me.

We opened a couple beers, and the sound of my rings against the glass clinked. This was the most I've felt like myself in a while, and I didn't want to admit it was because I was spending less time with Harper. He was so good to me, and treated me with respect but the relationship only changed me.

I got a text from Lloyd saying he was going to come meet us with a friend of his, and I informed the boys. 5 minutes later I saw him walking up to us, and my eyes couldn't believe who he was with. Small world.

"Mikey." I exclaimed. What were the odds.

"Your Majesty?" He asked, squinting his eyes. The audacity of this man to annoy me this soon into our encounter.

"You guys know each other?" Lloyd asked in confusion.

"Yeah, we met in Egypt." I explained, still in awe of the coincidence of meeting him again.

Andy and Mikey started talking and getting along quite well and seeing the subtle rage in Rye's face was indeed entertaining.

"I actually need to go to the bank and I'm not familiar with the whereabouts." He stated

"Sonny take him to the bank." Andy commanded.

"Anyone but him." Mikey snapped faster then I could process Andy's words. "I don't like him that much." He stated.

"Well, I don't like you at all." I smugly said. Confusion between the boys spread, but I sluggishly got up. "Well? C'mon, the bank's this way."

With a sigh, he got up and followed me, we walked it there seeing as it was really only 5 minutes away.

"So you are emo." He said while glancing from my leather jacket to the rings.

"Not the word I would use for myself."

"So like what, I see you in a gang or something that revolves around violence."

"And what makes you say that?" I asked.

"The gun in your jacket." Crap. He wasn't meant to see that. "Don't worry, I won't snitch. Why'd you carry it?"

"Protection I guess." There really was no answer for the gun, and that was the best thing I could come up with.

After 5 minutes for bickering and arguing over small things, we arrived outside the bank and I waited outside for him while he did business inside. He walked back out in less then 2 minutes.

"That's it?" I asked. He nodded and I sighed. As we were walking back, I felt my phone ring again in my pocket. As I pulled it out, I yet again saw Harper's contact and declined it without hesitating to answer it.

"Bit rude." I heard Mikey mutter.

"Mind your own business." I snapped and turned to see him raising his hands up in defeat. Why are you so ignorant?" I asked.

"Again, a bit rude."

" Well I mean, you are."

"Why are you the way you are?"

"That was uncalled for."

"I can be rude too."

"I don't like you."

"I know."

The conversation went back and forth like that for a while, and despite getting angrier by the second I couldn't stop myself from talking back even though it would've made me the better person.
