A nasty growl shook for the representatives lips.
"I told you Badger we are doing our best!" The woman spat out. "Just because another one of your people have gone missing doesn't mean you get to blame it on me!"
The room was dark, as it always was. The rules written by the founders had stated out that no extra light was allowed to filter its way through the walls and disturbed the moonlight and starlight. According to rules the answers from the ancestors wouldn't be visible to the leaders of the districts if the light was disturbed. The room hadn't changed much since it was made. Four mahogany tables, each one had delicate cuts to make it seem like waves, flowers, feathers, and the moon yet each with its own nits and slight chips from decades of use. Each different desk sporting a different color to represent each of the districts was draped across the middle with a large cushioned oak chair behind it along with a vile of ink and a stack of papers to the side. The sight alone was beautiful but what really stole the show was the glass star shaped dome on the ceiling that allowed the filtered light to join in on the debate.
Every month four representatives, and four assistants would meet. The representatives were to discuss problems in there district and work in a way to figure out how to fix them together, while the assistants were forced to remain quiet and silent for the full twelve hours, yet this was not the case. The impending danger of the group called the Dark Stars was weighing heavily on everyone's minds.
"Badger with all due respect in just the last week three kids, kids on there way home from school we're abducted!! There bodies were found in the sewer barley intact." Fur hated having to remember seeing the poor kids at the funeral. They couldn't keep the caskets open in fear of disturbing the young siblings. "We have to find a way to stop the Dark Stars."
"I agree with Fur, we have to take action right away before it's to late." Ember stated, her chestnut brown hair shaking. Fur raised an eyebrow only to hide her gratitude. Ember had been mostly quiet the whole time, she had thought the woman had gone to sleep through the long hours of the meeting.
"Why should we? She was the one who was over taken by Crow a while ago!" Sun the hot headed blond representative yowled, Fur gave him a glance that could kill. Only for Sun to roll his eyes. Wretched young man. "Why should we trust her when she isn't even strong enough to fend off a couple of gang members"
"Do you see my scars? I got those fighting my way back into control. Do you understand?" Fur stood up pushing her chair behind her, her violet eyes eerily clam. "I'll tell you who's weak.." she walked in-front of Sun pulling out a sword from its sheath on her back. Not one of the regular fighting ones she used that were on her belt. This one was the one she had killed Crow with. "You see this? I could plunge it into your throat and rip it out, I can cut out your stomach and feed your carcasses to the sharks, just like I did to Crow." Venom dripped from her voice as she spook, while Sun could barley move, fear visible on his face as she held it to his throat, pushing it at the skin threatening to break it. "I could and I would yet were on peaceful terms right now." She put the sword away back to its sheathe, walking to her seat sitting down a still dangerously calm aura around her,
"Now any questions?"
