It was our first day of intermediate and we where ecstatic that we were in the same class. We met outside then walked to the bus-stop we where both nervous and excited at the same time.
We walked through the gates and went to our class. We found it and went to the teacher. "hi I'm Harry and this is Courtney we are best friends" Harry said.
The teacher smiled "hello Harry and Courtney I'm mrs lee nice to meet you" she smiled and shook our hands.
We went off and had a walk around talking. We meet up with some of our old friends an talked to them for a bit.
The bell went and we walked back to class. We lined up outside and miss came outside, "I have made a seating plan but had to change it abut from this morning". Me and Harry looked at each other fingers crossed we sat together.
She started with the front row. Each desk seated 2 people. She finally got to the back and me, Harry and some others were still standing. She stood next to the desks closer to her desk. She put her hand on the first desk an called my name.
Fingers crossed I went to my seat and sat down. And Harry she announced. I smiled so wide my mouth hurt.
Harry came bouncing over to the desk and sat down. He turned to me and whispered "see I told you we would sit together".
The time flew and before we knew it we where waiting for the bus. We sat in our normal seat and talked about our busy day.
We had our books in our bag and heaps of title pages to do. Harry decided to come work at my house so I took his bag as he raced home to say hello to his mum and tell them about his day.
I had just turned down me driveway as he caught up with me. He took his bag and we raced inside.
We said hello, told mum about my day, made some noodles then spread out on the lounge floor with colored pencils an started on our title pages.
It was 7 when we finished and we put them all in our bag and put our bags to the side.
We where both extremely tired from our first day we fell asleep on the lounge floor
