"Wait, what? How is that even possible?" I yelped in shock.

He shrugged his shoulders and looked down in shame. "I'm not exactly sure."

"You're not the only one confused, little bro." We whipped around and saw Gabe approaching with his hands up. "Relax, I'm not some rogue angel coming to kill you on your romantic night out."

"It was a rogue angel?" Cas asked, moving closer to me.

"We're assuming, but we aren't positive." He said bluntly, stopping in front of us. "I was coming to see if you guys saw anything, but due to the state you guys are in I would say you two were too busy doing something else." Gabe winked and I blushed, looking down at the forest floor.

"It wasn't an angel." I heard a familiar voice behind me announce. We all turned to see two figures emerging from the dark forest and my mouth dropped. The all too familiar green eyes that once looked at me with desire and love now look at me as if I was a stranger.

"Dean." I whispered in shock.

"Do I know you?" He looked at me confused.

I frowned and looked down shaking my head.

Dean studied me for a moment, his brows furrowing in thought. Does he remember? Cas's arm wrapping around me brought me back to the real world and it seemed to have done the same for Dean because he shook his head and returned his gaze to Gabe. "It wasn't a rogue angel." Dean repeated.

"Oh? And how do you know?"

"Because. I've never seen an angels eyes turn black before." Sam said, announcing his presence.

I glanced up at Cas and at Gabe in shock to find that they were just as shocked as I was. "I thought the-" I trailed off trying to find the correct wording "'the event' turned all the demons to humans."

"Maybe it only turned the humans that were made into a demon." Cas mumbled in thought.

"Or maybe time is repeating itself." Gabe added.

"What do you mean?" I asked. Gabe and Cas exchanged a look and Cas shook his head, cursing under his breath.

"I mean the last time Eden was in business, our brother Lucifer may or may not have started the demon race with a certain someone named Lilith."

"So... what exactly are you suggesting?"

"I'm suggesting that Satan is back in town and is looking for some fresh meat."
