So, we've all seen some type of laser weapon. For me, recently I've been playing a lot of Phantasy Star Online 2. My main class, Hunter, has a few weapons that utilize laser blades. That got me thinking...
Do laser weapons have weight?
If the lasers are weightless, then that would mean that the handle is very heavy when it comes to the swords. The swords are all group together to be a sort of long/greatsword, which makes them hard to swing, but heavy hitting.
There's a bit of twisted logic here...

This is the Zax. Yes, this a sword.
Based on the Zax's design, it would imply that it is quite heavy, hence the high amount of damage you deal when swinging it.
BUT
If the lasers are weightless... then how heavy is the handle? Why would it need to be heavy?
And I just got another question...
How do the laser blades limit themselves? Why even put a limit on them?
