"Jam, we gotta go" mom shouted.

"Yes mom, I'm coming." I fasten up fixing myself and go straight down.

We are on our way at David's residence. I'm holding so many stuff. Thank you mom I appreciate it -_-. I look like a nanny now. T.T

"Good morning ma'am" my mother greeted.

"Good morning too jenny, so how's your week? How's jam?" Mrs. Kaia David asked.

"She's okay ma'am, she's doing fine." My mother answered.

"Good to here it." A genuine smile formed at mrs. Kaia.

"Oh, hi Jamilah? How are you?" Mrs. David asked me.

I show her my brightest smile then answered "I'm okay ma'am, thank you."

I know you're confused because we're calling her ma'am. Yes she is our boss. My mother is a maid here. But she doesn't sleep here because we need her.

I can't take care of my grandmother because I'm still studying. Yes, I know what you think. And yes we are poor ever since my father left us. We don't have lots of money. I am helping my mom to work here for us to have a money for our expenses. But I'm not staying so long here because I'm still studying.

I'm studying at Fremilton High, getting a degree of medical technology. I'm a first year college. Btw I am Jamilah Clarrise Guysemindo.

Fremilton High is a school for rich kids. How come did I get here? I belong to the varsity of volleyball. That's why I get a full scholarship plus I'm the valedictorian when I was in high school.

"Ahm? Mom? I gotta go, we have a practice" I supposedly going out the house when my mom stopped me.

"Jamilah! Did I told you that we need to earn money first before anything else? Did I? You are always attending your practices but you can't even earn money on it. Can you being a volleyball player can feed us? Don't you think you should prioritize your family first?"

I've been scolded again. Every time were having a practice mom always remind me that I should prioritize our family first.

Everytime she remind me I feel that she want it only for her self. I feel that she's obsessed or trauma ahhhh. I don't know but since my dad left us she change.

"But mom? I should go, my co-players need me." I frowned.

" do you think I don't need you here?" Here it is again okay okay guilty poured me.

"Ts okay mom" I texted our captain ball that I can't attend our practice because mom don't want me to go. She replied that it is okay she understand it. Yes, when I have a problem my best friend and my co-players are the ones who listen to my mellow dramatic life.

Every Friday is our salary day yes, my salary and my mother's salary is different. But I save my salary because I want to go to London and try out in the best volleyball team in the whole wide world.

I knew that they were accepting newbie volleyball players because 3 of their players quit. So I am saving money for my goal. But I don't know if my mom will agree on this but for now I will keep first to myself.

I'm working at the swimming pool when someone push me so I fell in the swimming pool.

*splash*

"Oh shit" I murmured. Then I look at the person who push me and I'm sure who pushed me.

The bitch daughter of Mrs. David, Janine David.

"Hey what's your problem?" I asked and get up in the swimming pool.
