We were two hours away from the venue when Andy's phone rang.
"Hello?" The other end said something. He sighed and was visibly agitated. "Juliet can we talk about this later?"
"Because there's somebody else in the car with me." He waited for her to respond.
"Yes."
"NO! God she's just friend."
"Yes I can!" She talked for a while.
"She's only 18 years old."
"So, I don't go around fucking everybody who's legal Juliet."
"I'm a fucking asshole? Why?" He sighed sharply and hung up on her.
"Well." I laughed. He turned to look at me with a slight smile.
"Sorry about that." He grumbled. "She gets a bit Jealous.......over everything." He sighed.
"Yeah I know the feeling." I mumbled. He laughed and nodded.
"Marcus could get a bit jealous couldn't he."
"A bit? He was jealous of every male that glanced in my general direction. And then he goes out and fucks anything that'll hold still long enough. Makes perfect sense." I said.
"Somebody still a little bitter?" Andy said looking over at me.
"No, just confused." I sighed.
"He's like Ashley, can't hold a steady relationship. But Ashley just brakes up with them he doesn't cheat." Andy glanced over at me. " He loves you ya know." I looked down at my lap.
"Yeah, I love him too but I can't just fucking forget what he did. He was cheating on me half of our relationship. We can be friends again but that as far as it's ever gonna get. He made his bed, he's gotta lay in it." We fell silent and stayed that way the rest of the trip. It wasn't awkward, just quiet. We got to the venue ten minutes before AMF goes on. I ran to the stage and grabbed my guitar, quickly tuned it and slung it over my shoulder. I looked up and saw my whole band staring at me. I smiled sheepishly and waved.
"Hey guys." I was immediately engulfed in a surprisingly gently group hug.
"Are you ok?!" Bradey exclaimed. I looked down at the ground.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I said quietly.
"Are you sure?" Tony said furrowing his eyebrows. I nodded, giving them a view of the long line of stitches across my neck. Marcus sucked in a sharp breathe.
"Oh my god." Jax said quietly, looking a bit green.
"Phoenix, are you sure you want to do the show?" Bradey said cautiously. I rolled my eyes and sighed.
"Yes! Let's fucking go mother fuckers." I said with a grin. Tony smiled and shook his head.
"You are one crazy bitch." He laughed, running on stage. The crowd erupted and the rest of us went on. When we got to one of our heaviest songs I stopped and ran to the mic. Marcus gave me a confused look but I just pushed him out of the way.
"Motherfuckers, I want to see a wall of death, a fucking good one. Can you do that for me?" The crowd roared and ran in opposite directions quickly getting into formation.
"FOUR THREE TWO ONNNEEEEE." Marcus growled the last part. The crowd charged towards each other. The song was a good four minutes long and they were giving it there all. When it was over they stopped moshing and looked at us. I laughed and ran to the mic.
