The First Day

My mom woke me up extra early for school as it's my first day. I had just moved from Busan to Seoul. I heard a lot about the school and how there's really popular people, specifically a group of guys know as F4. As you could probably guess I am very nervous but let's just be a nobody and hopefully people won't really take notice of me.

Me with my bag pack and snack-bar "mom I'm ready to go". Mom "hurry honey I'm waiting in the car". Travelling to the school takes about 25 minutes, "mom do you think I'll fit in?" She replies "of course honey I think you will be able to make tons of new friends and everyone will love you since my daughter is such a lovable person"

In front of the school gates "bye baby I'll be back to pick you up", "okay mom love you".

I entered the halls, my first thoughts where that it was just huge and crowded. Looking for my first class I had to ask people passing by for help..."hi could you please help me out to get to class, I'm new here". I got an answer "sure, up the hall, turn left, third door on your right" I was so thankful.

I got to the class and the teacher says "you must be Ara" I replied "yes sir", he then told me to introduce myself to the class which was the most awkward moment ever but I just said "hello I'm Cho Ara and I just moved from Busan, nice to meet you all" and sat down at a desk.

A few people talked to me which was really nice. 2 girls which are going to be in my lessons wanted me to stay with them and wanted to show me around the school. I thought that was really nice of them as I really needed help around with the new environment.

We walked out of our first class and walked to our lockers when all of a sudden you hear screaming. The two girls explained to me that it was F4 and they dragged me along with them to see them. I really didn't want to go. They dragged me with them and started screaming "Song Mingi!, Jung Wooyoungaa!" While im trying to block my ears and get out of the crowd. I get pushed and my phone falls out of my hand. I try to pick up my phone but then it gets kicked away from me, at this point I'm running after my phone in the crowd. Until I see a red shoe is about to crush it, my hand so close to getting it and...crack!
I realised it was one of the F4 guys as he glances at me casually after stepping on my phone as if nothing happened.

As he's about to turn away and walk off, I stop him and say "hey you stepped on my phone and cracked it, are you going to buy me a new one?" He glances at me again but this time he smirks and walks off with 2 of them. 1 of them left then comes over, picks up my phone and hands it to me but doesn't speak a word and walks away.

Later the day, during our lunch break I see F4 and stop them "red shoed guy, it was you who stepped on my phone earlier" the first thing he says "red shoed guy has a name, Mingi". I told him I wasn't bothered about knowing his name but that he has to buy me a new phone. He ignores me once again and walks off.

I see them a few times in the hallways with girls surrounding them which is why i give them the dirties and leave but Mingi smirks back at me, i did not think that he would notice me...

I decided to go sit in the balcony thinking no one would be there but then i notice one of the F4 members and turned straight around. "Hold on, where are you going?" Me being my silly self replies with "umm i just remembered i left my bag in the lunch hall", "you didn't have a bag this morning, you don't have to be afraid of me". That's when i looked at his face slowly and realised it was the quiet and only nice one out of F4. "Oh, I'm not afraid of you, you're nice actually", "thanks but I'm not nice to people really". "Anyway, I'm Cho Ara and you're name is...?", "...Park Seonghwa". We talked for a little while and just got to know each other a bit more. The bell rang which meant that it was the end of the day "It was really nice meeting you Seonghwa, i hope we can have chats here more often" he asked to walk me home but i told him my mom was picking me up, " i was joking I'm going with the guys anyway they would hate me if i walked you home" rude.

I got into the car "how did the first day go honey?" I wasn't sure what to say so i went with "it turned out to be different than what i expected but it's not bad, i even made new friends", "that's great honey, i told you people would love to be friends with you".

I got home and i had so many messages from my friends in Busan asking me if i like it here in Seoul. I told them that i miss them a lot and that Seoul is nice and the school is quite good but i wanted to see them all badly. I face timed my close friends from Busan for a couple of hours and told them how my first day at school went and how i miss being with them.
