There's a Thief at Smosh Games HQ

Chapter One

Mari Takahashi's P.O.V

I filmed the most recent episode of "Grand Theft Smosh" with the guys about five minutes ago. The day has been pretty slow too. My stomach began to protest on the lack of food that has been received, "Yeah I know you want tacos!" I said poking my belly, "I want tacos." My friend David, or Lasercorn, said, "Jesus! Where did you come from?" I said leaning back in my chair, "I don't want to know." He said pulling his "laser stare". I rolled my eyes, "Everythings perverted huh David?" I said slightly laughing. David showed me a weak smile, "Uhh I think i'm gonna go home. See you later Mari." He said waving bye to me. I waved back.

Tick Tock. Tick Tock. Tick Tock. Geez time is so slow, "Mari we're leaving." Matt (Sohinki) said opening the door, "I could have been naked and you just barged in." I said laughing, "Well why would you be naked?" He said closing the door, "Just knock next time." I told him with a jokingly accent, "What if it's a zombie apocalypse and this is the only room that's clear?" He said messing my hair up, "Still you better knock." I said rustling his hair back. Matt smiled that adorable little smile of his and hugged me goodbye.

So now it was just me. Mari, all alone in Smosh Games HQ. It was about three-thirty A.M when I last glanced at the clock. Editing video's is hard work! Then the room got very quiet as I heard voices on the outside of my door. Being my awesome sauce self, I hid under the table. The door knob twisted open and Ian, Anthony, Sohinki, Lasercorn, and Jovie walked in. I was about to get up when I heard them talking about some sort of "plan". My palms began to sweat as I eavesdropped, "So are we gonna steal that statue tomorrow?" Ian asked leaning against my table. I bit my tounge. Mari you need to be quiet! I thought to myself, "Yeah, Joven, Anthony, and Ian will go get the statue." Lasercorn said. What statue?! What was happening?! "It's the best solution since David and I are good with computers." Sohinki said. I raised up a bit and hit my head on the desk, "Mmmph!" trying to be quiet? Mission failed, "Mari?" Everyone said, "I thought you were home!" Lasercorn said, "Oh God she knows!" Anthony said, "She's gonna turn us in!" Joven said, "Hey! She won't turn us in. I have a plan." Ian said. Everyone paused.

"So Mari, you can think of it like this, you're our hostage and will help us anytime we need it." Ian said chuckling a deep laugh, "No!" I said standing my ground. Wow their gonna kill me, "No? But Mari you don't have a choice. We're one of the most famous groups of thieves here! If you go rat us out instead of working for us, I'll have no choice but to kill you." Ian said pulling out a sharp gutting knife. He did the motion like he was gonna cut my throat. I gulped and finally said, "O-Okay..." At this point, the waterworks had lost control. I didn't know what to do, think, or say. I just wanted to cry and be held by someone I trusted, "Now Mari, since it's your first job here, you'll be in the truck with Lasercorn and Sohinki." Joven said stroking my hand, "Don't worry beautiful, I wont let them hurt you." I smiled, "Thank you Joven." He pulled me in for a hug with his big arms.

However, I didn't notice Sohinki watching until Joven left, "So you're dating Joven?" He said sounding a little angry, "No... I simply needed a shoulder to cry on." I huffed and looked away. Sohinki grabbed my shoulders and looked at me, "Atomic Mari, best friend, be strong. I know it's scary, I was scared when I joined the squad, but I know we watch eachothers backs and care for eachother like we normally do on a regular day at HQ. Okay?" I nodded, Sohinki and I have awlays had a strong bond, so I knew for a fact he wouldn't lie to me. I'm just so confused. He shot me that warm smile he shared eariler and kissed my forehead, "Good luck." He said leaving.

I started to feel better. I was gonna be a thief and had no choice in backing down. I began to sprawl out across the floor when I heard Lasercorn's bloodcurdling scream!
