EVAILIA BEAUMONT is the soon to be queen of verona, although no one knows exactly howsoon.
AS THE HEIR to the throne and the only child of the king and queen, it is evailia's duty to be prepared to step foot on the throne as queen of verona at any given time; should anything happen to her parents.
AS A RESULT of this reality, the king and queen have assigned evailia an advisor since she turned fifteen. evailia is now 17 and shes had about twenty four advisors, none of which she cared to keep.
AT THIS POINT the king and queen were very tired and very old, they quite literally didn't have time for evailia's games anymore. she had to have an advisor to help her manage her future duties as queen, at least until she was married; which was another thing evailia was not intending on following through with. she intended to reign alone, just like her grandmother did.
THE KING AND QUEEN realized that to have an advisor that stayed longer than a month, maybe their daughter needed someone who not only guided her with her duties but who was also a companion she could confide in. evailia had no real friends around her age, seeing as she has a governess and absolutely does not attend a real school; which is certainly no place for a princess.
AFTER A LONG discussion, the king and queen came to the conclusion that to keep an advisor for their daughter; he had to be young, politically experienced, highly intelligent, compassionate, andhandsome.
