Hi There! so I started a new story, as well as im going to try to continue the other two.

So, this is my normal Teen Fiction Story... so i hope it works out.....

                                                                                      Much Love!xx

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When we were kids, we were equal in each other’s eyes. We didn’t discriminate on race, money, or stereotypes. The only thing we could do to commit social suicide was to not share the last cookie during snack time, and only that lasted for maybe an hour. Now, you don’t have to do anything and bam, congratulations you’re a loser.

Being addicted to social media ruined my actual social life. Yes it’s normal for most teens these days, but it wasn’t actually being addicted as it was being hacked, and made a joke of to your school. The thing is, I have to go back, and I really don’t want to. I’ve had to see counselors about this, and it hasn’t done anything but keep me from getting over it.

So here I am, two weeks from senior year starting, and all I do is lie on the beach and go over things with my best friend Aubrey who goes to the public school in town.

“Harper, let’s go into town. I want some fries from Derk’s, please?” Aubrey Pleaded. “Oh, and you can get the summer salad you always ask for, c’mon Harp.”

“Aubrey, I can’t. It’s the teen hangout in Seabrook, and he could be there, I just can’t.” I answered, I just couldn’t do it, I have healed some, but if I saw him, I’d just crumble. I have two weeks to fix myself to the point where I can see him, and I won’t fall apart inside.

“He wasn’t there last time, and he probably won’t be around with your school starting soon, he has a year to pack for. And, I’m just saying Phillip Wilson so had his eye on you last time, he waited hand and foot to make sure you got everything you wanted.” She tried to talk me into going. He might not be there, and Phillip is pretty hot, he’s funny too. After pondering for a moment I thought I needed to get a life.

“Alright but if Bennett is there, we’re ordering everything to go.” I said with a heavy sigh.

“Yay!” Aubrey jumped. So we got on our bikes and pedaled across town to Derk’s.

“I’ll take a Summer Salad with raspberry vinaigrette and a mango iced tea.” I said smiling at Phillip.

“Will do.” Phillip glanced at me while taking our menus.

As he walked away, Aubrey gave me a look. “So, did I tell you or not?”

“Maybe, he’s probably just being nice.” I said looking down. My confidence hasn’t been the highest in a few years, so I can’t possibly think this gorgeous boy would like me.

“Harp, look at me. Babe if any boy doesn’t like you, he doesn’t deserve you. End of story. And that boy hasn’t dated anyone since the back to school party under the pier last year. The year the three of us were inseparable. Without you he doesn’t really speak to me, he has to have a crush on you.” Aubrey cooed. If all of that is true, then why was it, last semester that Bennett and every other boy in his group got so scared when they found out I had a crush on him?

“Bree, listen, I’m being dead serious. I don’t have anything to offer, I’m not extremely rich, I don’t have model like beauty, sex wouldn’t be an option, and let’s face it I’m way too much of an artistic free spirit for any of them.” I looked away, sitting straight back in my chair.

“Maybe the boys at Blakeney Prep prefer money, but here the Seabrook high boys look for a girl they like, for who they are, not how much they’re worth. Well, boys are boys, and most of them do have sexual relationships, but give Phillip a chance, he’s not one of those guys.” She pleaded.

In the distance I saw Phillip coming in our direction, with our food on the trays. With one glance his way, Aubrey hushed automatically.

“Okay, here you are Harp, one summer salad with raspberry vinaigrette, and of course your mango iced tea.” Phillip said placing my food on the table in front of me with my drink sat right beside it. “Here’s your fries, and cherry coke, Bree.”

“Are those the nicknames we had for each other last summer I hear, P?” I asked giggling.

“Sure is, mind if I join you two?” he questioned with an unsure smile on his face.

“Matter of fact, I’d love it if you joined us.” I said meeting his eyes, his smile was so perfect, last summer he had braces and we made jokes about how he was the dorkiest jock we’d ever met. He had gorgeous, disheveled dirty blonde curly hair, and green eyes to die for. Last summer I had somewhat fallen for him, but I couldn’t hurt him, especially myself.

Phillip brought up a chair, turned it backwards, straddling the back of the chair. He yelled towards the back that he was taking a break, when someone from the back yelled “OKAY.” Then he turned back to me.

“So, I’ve heard life’s treating you rough lately, what’s going on?”

“P, it’s nothing.”

“It can’t be nothing Harp. You haven’t been to Derk’s but one other time this whole summer. That’s not the girl I knew, what happened?” he said staring me dead in the eyes.

“You want to know what happened? I got screwed over, my social life committed suicide, and I lost something very important to me, my pride. The funny thing is, it was all a lie started by someone I’ve trusted almost my entire life. That’s what happened.”

“Harp, cool down, he was only worried.” Aubrey cooed.

“No, it’s okay Bree. But I would like to make up the time we’ve lost, how about we all go to a movie tonight? I’ll bring one of my guy friends. That is if Miss Harper would like to go on a date with me? And my friend could get to know the lovely Aubrey?” He looked at Aubrey, it was quite cute the way he was asking, maybe, maybe I should try this out. He always had a way to clear my mind.

“Actually, I have dinner plans with my parents tonight, maybe you two should go.” Aubrey said smirking, and then both turned looking at me.

“Eight o’clock?” I looked, smirking back.

“At your door of course.”

“Then I shall be fashionably late at 8:05.” I curtsied, smiling at him paying for the food.

On the way out the door, there he was, staring straight at me. I knew it, I  knew I would see him.

                      How effing cliche.
