Coming Home

Korra's POV

The ship docked at the port and I slowly got off of it. I wish I hadn't been gone so long but I had my reasons, one of them being the fact I needed to heal after the poison had been in my body. The other reason had to do with the bundle in my arms.

Walking down the ramp I could see everyone waiting for me; Asami, Bolin, Tenzin, Jinora, Meelo, Ikki, Pema, and of course Mako. Just seeing him made my heart jump and I started getting really nervous. Glancing down to the baby in my arms I smiled and my nervousness subsided a bit. Finally, I got to the bottom of the ramp I looked up at the group of people in front of me. But looking at their faces they all had a confused look.

"Hey guys" I said

"Hey Korra" said Bolin "Where did you get that baby from?"

"Uh, where do you think it came from?" I asked

"Ummm, I don't know" he said completely serious

"The baby came from me" I said, queue collective gasp, "So.....are you surprised?" I asked

"You could say that" said Asami

"Yeah, really surprised" I heard an angry looking Tenzin mumble "Why didn't you tell us?" He asked

"Sorry, but it was just as big of a surprise to me as to you. Plus I knew you would freak out." I answered

"Um... I'm really happy for you Korra." Said Asami

"Am I the only one who is wondering who the father is?" asked Jinora, everyone slowly raised their hands

"I for one am extremely curious" said Tenzin

"Well come and take a look at her then" I said, he then slowly walked forward. Tenzin slowly took the baby from my arms. The slight movement of him taking her from my arms woke her up. As she slowly opened her eyes, Tenzin gasped at what he saw. She had bright blue eyes just like mine.

"She looks just like you." He said smiling at me. He looked back down at the baby when all of a sudden her small face scrunched up and her mouth opened slightly. Next thing you know she sneezed, a huge column of fire erupting from her mouth. Tenzin moved back quickly obviously surprised, but she still managed to singe the older air-bender's eyebrows. I hear a "oh my spirits" from somewhere in the group but manage to ignore it.

"F-firebending..." Tenzin said. As if on cue all heads swiveled towards the resident raven-haired firebender.

"I'm afraid that's not all." I said cringing. Right on cue Tonraq walked off the ship with two more bundles in his arms. Then the resident firebender promptly fainted loudly.
