The mechanical arms dropped me off on the ground and handed me over my uniform. I put on the clothes, which included a turtleneck shirt, a white jacket and black pants. My program ordered me to go see him in the living room. I watched him eating a 5 stars meal as always, appearing with only a bathrobe and a glass of whisky next to him. A model RT600, named Chloe, was busy brushing his hair.

"Good morning Mr Kamski. I greeted him

He finally deigned to look at me.

-I see your internal clock is perfectly working, no problem diagnosticated ?

-None.

He hummed with a smile, slightly amused, for a reason that was unknown to me.

-Then maybe you will be able to tell me why my brother, whom is supposed to be under your care, ended up in an hospital…

-Is he out already ? Was he healing alright ? Since when- i asked out of worry.

He cut me almost immediately and got up once Chloe had finish tying his hair up.

-He's okay, he got out this morning.

Although he seemed calm, his expression was dark. I would usually feel uneasy around Mr Kamski. I couldn't tell when or why he would begin to burst out all by himself and so felt the need to stay cautious with him. I followed him across the dining room, crossing the swimming-pool on our way. Many Chloe models were chilling in the water and looked up when i walked through the room, looking wary of me. We entered a resting room, quiet and refine, with two white armchairs. It looked like the type of room you could use for an interview ... or an interrogation. The walls were nothing but windows, giving wide and bright lighting to the room. He took one of the sit and offered me the other, in front of him.

He turned on a giant screen hanging on the wall. Parameters and statistics began to slowly appeared on it, summarizing my last hours of activity.

-My activity history ?

I saw scenes washing over me as i remembered the facts. The car crash, Gavin wounded, Connor asking for my report, until i completely shut down. He really did record everything. He paused it.

-As you know, i keep tracks of everything you do outside this house. I can't let you wander off by yourself, unchecked.

-Yes i do know that. I answered.

-Now… i need you to explain me your decision. The one you took when you decide to reprogram the itinerary.

Kamski sat back, now sipping his drink while glaring.

-I had decided to follow Reed's orders, as a form of respect and as to not upset him further. And as a machine, i was supposed to obey him. I answered calmly.
