A new beginning

Brooke and I were going unbelievably fast of the wave runner. Salt water was splashing into our eyes but we couldn't care less. 

It was hot so it felt good. 

After about 30 minutes we just left the wave runner float in the middle of the water. Everyone on the beach looked like tiny moving dots. 

"Wow this is incredible." Brooke says. 

"Yeah it really is." I say agreeing with her. 

"Look other people are doing it now too." She says pointing into the distance and there are three more wave runners. "Look at us we are trend setters. Well I guess you because you are the one whole actually got this but oh well." She says waving her hand around as she talks. 

"Who is it I can't tell." I say trying to squint my eyes. 

"Omg its Blake, Hunter, and Ethan." She says turning towards me. 

"Wow." I say not really knowing what else to say. 

"They are totally out here because you are!" She says in an excited voice. 

"No they are not." I say not believing her. 

"Well there not out here for me so it has to be you." She says. 

"Or they just want to go wave running." I say laughing. 

"Doubtful boys always have an ulterior motive." She says nodding to herself. 

"I don't believe you." I say truthfully. 

"Fine lets see." She says pushing me off the wave running causing me to fall into the water. I can't help but let out a scream of surprise. 

"Brooke!" I say once I come up from the water. "You are not leaving me here." I say trying to swim back to it but she keeps inching away. "Brooke I'll drown!" I say being a little over dramatic causing her to laugh. 

"You will not drown I'll be back in 2 minutes." She says and darts off. 

"Brooke! Brooke!" I say screaming her name hoping that that will get to come back but instead I get a mouth full of water from her splashes. 

I am going to kill her. 

I turn in all directions and see that I am really stuck there is absolutely nothing around me. The shore is also very far away I don't think I could make it if I swam. 

I look down and thankfully I can see my feet. That makes me feel a little better but I can't see much after that. 

Thankfully it is such a hot day that the water feels refreshing and cool. 

I try to figure out which wave runner is Brookes but they all look the same. 

"Need some help?" I hear someone say behind me and I turn my head to see Blake. 

"That would be awesome." I say smiling. Blake is looking at me with amusement in his eyes. 

"So how did you end up all the way out here?" Blake says extending his hand out to me which I gladly take. With one smooth motion I am sitting behind him on the wave runner. 

If I thought Sam had good abs then damn Blake looks like some kind of God. His body is toned in every possible way. 

"Oh you know I fell off Brookes wave runner and I guess she is taking her time coming back for me." I say which causes him to laugh. 

"Classic." He says with a grin. "Why aren't you driving? I saw Sam give you his." He says. 

"You know Sam?" I ask him surprised.
