Final Battle

Natsu's POV

Fabian just laughed, that man standing in front of me, the moment I have been waiting for for a long time, I will finally kill this fiery red haired bastard. He threw off his coat, preparing to fight.

He smirked," Lucy when this is all done and over, we are going to have a long night." He licked his lips, looking Lucy's way.

"Your not going to touch her," I yelled. I ran toward him, "FIRE DRAGON IRON FIST." he was to late to dodge it, I hit him in his face making him fly backwards. He he hit the back wall, he stumbled to rise to his feet.

He stretched his arms and cracked his back," damn, I under estimated you. I didn't think you would be that strong, you might actually be a challenge." He smiled, he waved his hand but nothing happened. "Oh," he looked surprised. "Looks like you have gotten to strong for my paralysis, looks like I'm going to have to do things the old fashion way." He smirked and charged toward me.

His fist almost crashed into my face, he fell to the floor. Lucy had kicked him in his gut, she then round house kicked him in the face. Holy shit, that happened too quick, I thought to myself. Fabian crashed into the nearest pillar. He put his finger to his nose then observing the bloody fingers,"your going to regret that."

In a flash, he hit Lucy in her face making her yelp, she blocked his kicked to the gut. She stuck her arm out hitting him in the throat, body slamming him in the floor. She quickly recovered, leaving him on the floor holding his stomach. He stood to his feet," double teaming me now looks like I have to step my game up."

Black light surrounded him, red and black scales covered his body, his canines grew, his eyes turned into golden dragon eyes. He gave a toothy devilish smile," now let's end this." His magic power suddenly increased. Black shadows surrounded him,"DEATH SHADOW ROAR," he chanted. Black shadows came heading toward me, I tried to dodge it but it hit me. The shadows hit my body, it felt like claws were scratching every part of my body. The shadows entered my body, the pain was excruciating, it felt like I was being teared to shreds from the inside, I fell to the floor, the pain was just too much.

Fabian's POV

I raised my hand controlling where the shadows went, I was killing Natsu. In a matter of moments my shadows will have tor his insides to shreds, leaving nothing but a distant memory. It was almost complete until something wrapped around my neck throwing me to the ground, breaking my concentration. Lucy was in her dragon form, silver scales, light blue eyes. 

I stood up," his death would have been over in a matter of moments, it would have been fast but painful. But since you intervened its going to be slow and tormenting." 

"Over my dead body," She spat venom.

Lucy's POV

I looked over at Natsu who was spitting up blood, laying on the floor, I will kill him for everything he has done to me. For rapping me, treating to kill Natsu, kidnapping me, and now almost killing him. I watched as Natsu stumbled to his feet then fell to the floor again. I looked back at Fabian who was laughing at Natsu struggle.

My scales turned green and blue, earth and water."MIXED ELEMENTAL DRAGON ROAR." Both earth and water rushed toward Fabian hitting him making him roll a few feet back.

He stood and smiled," My wife is one powerful dragon." He started throwing up blood, he whipped his mouth," unfortunately, if you want to kill me your going to have to try harder than that."

He charged toward, black shadows surrounding his fists, I waited for the impact but it never happened. I looked over seeing Natsu punching him in the gut, his eyes glowed red, his red scales covered his body. "That is my Lucy, no one else," he looked as Fabian feel to the floor. Natsu turned toward me, Fabian shot up grabbing him from the shirt, throwing him into the nearest wall. 

"Just die already, you already lost," Fabian said while walking toward him. "DEATH FIST," he mumbled but I still heard him. Black and purple smoke began to appear from his right fist. My light blue eyes glowed, slowing down time. I have to move fast because using my time magic for a long period of time drains most my magic. I hurried over to Natsu and Fabian, Fabian seemed to be smiling, I shouldn't have let my guard down. Once I pulled Natsu from Fabian's attach, Fabian soon punched me in my gut.

"How is that possible," I was shocked, how is he able to move fast when time is slowed down? I could feel the magic in my body starting to drain.

"It's quite easy actually, your time magic has no effect on me." He laughed hysterically. My eyes glowed again bringing time back up to speed. He laughed again," now that most of your magic power is gone you won't be able to stop me from killing Natsu."

He kicked me, I flew in the air then he kicked me again. I crashed into the back wall where I moved Natsu, I struggled to get to my feet. Natsu fell unconscious for a moment. I looked at Fabian,"SPACE DRAGON STRIKE." Bleck holes darted toward Fabian, shredding the outside of his body, he screamed in agony. 

He fell to the floor spitting up blood," I'M NOT DEAD YET," he roared he stood to his feet then fell to the floor. I was getting light headed, I have very little magic left in my body. I looked over at Natsu who was still on the floor but was struggling to get to his feet.

I bent over about whispering in his ear," I have to do what is best for you Natsu, I will protect you even if that means sacrificing myself."  He looked at me confused, I kissed him then stood up, then Natsu realized what I was about to do. "LUCY DON'T DO IT." I took a couple steps forward.

I ignored him, I looked back," I love you Natsu, I always will." I shed a couple of tears, then I looked at Fabian who was struggling to get to his feet. "LUUUCCYY," I heard Natsu screaming to the top of his lungs. I looked back at him to see him crying, trying to stand to stop me.

I turned to Fabian, wind picked up, white light began to surround my body. My magic is almost gone at this point. "THOUSAND STAR CRASH," I chanted. A black whole appeared above Fabian. Thousands of stars began crashing on Fabian, debris was everywhere, once it cleared i see Fabian laying on the floor motionless. I smiled," Its finally over." I began to fall to the floor, everything went black.

Natsu's POV

I stood up but I was too late, Lucy was on the floor she wasn't moving."LUUUCCYYY," i screamed hoping to wake her up. Tears began flowing down my face," I'm sorry, Luce come back to me. I wasn't able to protect you. I began rocking her, I continued to sob. Erza, Gray, Fury and Nighteye came to late, they all looked pretty beat up.

"HELP ME," I screamed. Fury and Nighteye rushed over to me, dispite their injuries. "Hurry lets get her to the guild." Erza said.

I held on to Lucy, Fire began surrounding me next I was in the guild. " HELP LUCY," I screamed. Master Makarov came running toward her," Get her to the infirmary, QUICKLY. Wendy go with them and try to heal Lucy." I Hurried to the infirmary, I laid her on the bed. I didn't know how bad my injuries were, after laying her on the bed, everything went black.
