The Meeting

The sun cutting through my eyes while I slept I immediately awoken. I looked over at my digital clock and I had 10 minutes before it went off.

I shut it off and rolled out of bed. I had a meeting to attend to at 9:30am with my dad.

It's was 7:50 and I was exhausted. I walked into my bathroom and looked at my self which was a mess.

Quickly brushing me teeth and showering I got out and tried to tame my curly hair that flowed down my back.

Adding in all my hair products I defused it. I've never really wore a lot of makeup just lipstick and mascara.

As I walked to my closet I picked out a pencil skirt, a navy blue blouse, and some matching heels.

I walked down stairs and saw my dad laying out bacon and eggs for me to eat.

"Thank you papi" I said while smiling

"Anything for me beloved daughter"

I ate it in a matter of seconds. I joined him in the dinning room and he gestured for us to leave.

We walked out of our hotel. We were staying their because if the meeting. It was far from where we lived.

Approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes away from home.

A man the door open as we got in. I thank him and the drive started.

Before we go let me tell you about myself.

My name is Julian Salvin and I'm 22. I work for The Salvan Corp. I am the personal assistants of the CEO of the company which is my father. José Salvin.

Most people think just because I'm the daughter of the CEO automatically means I got this job out of favoritism.

I genuinely worked hard for the position at the the job that I have. I'm 23 and engaged. I just want to work as hard as I can and settle down at one point.

As I got lost in my thoughts my dad called out to me.

"Julian, Juless...."

"Oh, yes?" I said coming back into reality

"We're here" my father said

I quickly got out of the car and step out into the concrete. As we entered the building it was quite with a little bit of murmuring.

We asked the lady at the front desk for directions and she smiled kindly and told us where our meeting was.

We walked into the elevator and went up to the 14th floor. As we walked in we were greeted by a receptionist.

When we walked in the room didn't have many people but we were pretty early. As the room filled in Mr. Anderson entered the room.

We all stood and he soon signaled for us to sit and the meeting began. The meeting was about completely merging my fathers and Mr. Anderson's company.

I took notes the whole meeting and at some point I started drifting off and paying attention to something random.

My eyes scanned the whole room and landed on Mr. Anderson. He was intimating I must say....he was young too about 24 I think. He was very successful.

My dad who was older, much wiser, and also successful was intimidated by him.

Then our eyes locked. He was handsome I must say but I already had my eyes on somebody else. My soon to be husband.

Then out of nowhere Mr. Anderson said my name.

"Ms. Salvin. Are you ok with that"

Shit
