3 years later In the end Alonzo couldn't do it. He couldn't give lee the love he knew she deserved. So he left her not because he didn't love her but because he didn't love him self.
He knew he couldn't love anyone knowing that deep down he was unhappy with himself. He wanted to give lee the world but couldn't.
He had deep rooted insecurities that no one could clear. No one could get rid of. It will stick with him for the rest of his life.
No every story ends the way people wanted them to ,but Lee's and Alonzos story was Beautiful while it lasted. It made him happy being with her all theses moments. For a second he thought hey maybe someone could love him and he really felt the love with her,but he couldn't feel it with him self.
He didn't want to be selfish and stay with her knowing he couldn't get over his fear of self doubt. He hated himself and he's going to therapy for it now.

"Thank you for coming to meet me." He says sitting down across from lee.
It's been three years since he last saw his face broke her heart. He left her heart broken all he can remember is the tears running down her face.
"Of course I told you I would always be here for you. All you had to do was call." She says smiling at him. She missed him. In a way she was waiting for him to get better so they could be together she still has hope for the two of them. She's never loved anyone like she loved Alonzo.
"I wanna tell you that I love you and you're the only person that I've every felt that's really loved me." She smiled and grabbed his hand. She's happy because now she can see them having a future together. She wants her baby back.
"So I love you too. So much when you left me it broke me. You know I waited for you. Because I knew you had to get better so me and you could be together." She says smiling.
He smiles and takes of a necklace he has on. He puts it on her and kisses her. She opens the locket and it's a picture of the two of them. She starts to cry even more.
"I promise you I love you so much. You're the only person I've loved like this. I'm so sorry." He says.
He must be saying sorry for breaking her heart all those years ago.
"It's okay baby you're making up for it now. I love you I'm so happy you decided to call me." She says getting up and hugging him.
"I will never give up on you ever. I've always been here and I've always loved you. I know your demons are there but I'm you're angle okay ?" She says smiling and he gives a small smile back.
"I'm sorry lee." He says again quietly.
"It's okay Alonzo I forgive." She says smiling. She gets a call and it's her father saying she has to come home quickly her mom passed out
"I have to go but I'll call you." He giving him a quick kiss.
"We'll talk later okay. I promise" she says smiling and running to her car.

In the end Alonzo was saying sorry for two things breaking her heart and breaking it another again. He killed himself. In the end he couldn't get a hold of his demons and self hate.
He didn't want to be a part of this cruel world. He took a full bottle of sleeping pills and never woke up. He knew all along he was going to do it but he need to see lee one last time. The only person who made that dark and evil world worth while and for a second he thought maybe I can't do this maybe I'll stay here with her.
But sometimes even the darkness defeats the light.
Lee was so confused when she heard the news she couldn't believe he would do that. That had just spoke the other day. How could he do this to her twice.
He left her once before but this time he left her for good never to come back. All she could do is cry and hold on to the last thing he left for her.
Lee was at his grave holding onto the locket he had gave her with the picture of the two of them in her hand. She took it off and placed it on his grave. She knew she had to let him go. It's been months and she couldn't keep doing this to her self.
"What you did was so ducking selfish Alonzo. I miss you so much she says ,but I have to let you go. I meant it when I said I would always be here for you. I love you and I forgive you for leaving me. I just wish -" she couldn't finish because she was crying so much.
"I just w-wish you could have l-let me help you." She quickly put the locket down and looked at Alonzos grave one last time.
"Even though you didn't feel loved. I always loved you and I always will and even though you're gone I meant what I said I'll always be here for you. Watch over me okay." She says smiling.
Lee learned a lesson through Alonzo. What they had she knows she'll never experience again but she's happy she had it. If she had to do it again knowing the ending she would do it a million times over because the person she met and loved was the best time of her life. You can't save everyone and she learned that through him. He knew she loved him but her love wasn't enough for him. She knows it wasn't her fault.
In the end no matter how perfect people maybe seem it's just a illusion that one day will come crumbling down.
They were perfect for each other but also perfectly wrong.

In the end my baby Alonzo couldn't do it. It fucked me up writing the ending. I was about to cry got damn.
It's okay to hate me for the end I already hate myself enough 😂
