"Hey." I smiled. I walked over to the passenger seat and Ren opened the door for me.
"Thanks." I said, but I was thinking, 'So polite!'
"Wow..." I gazed at all the bright lights and white stripes on the green grass. It was all so enchanting.
"What?" He asked, puzzled.
"What do you mean?" I laughed.
"It's only a football game." He smiled. I stopped smiling and looked down.
"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't mean it like that." He frowned and stopped the car.
I opened the door and walked with Ren up the stands.
Everything was so visible and bright. "You okay?" He asked me and I snapped back to reality.
"Oh, me, yeah I'm fine... it's just I kind of...snuck out." I got quieter.
He laughed. "That's unusual?"
I didn't get it.
We watched the game and talked about our day-to-day lives, and how we felt about things. I opened up and told him about how I always wished I had blonde hair, and he said he always wanted that too. He bought me hot chocolate and popcorn too.
It was already 10:30pm.
"Thank you so much for buying. We should do this again, but I really have to go now." I hugged him.
"Oh do you want me to drive you home?" He started to get up.
"Oh no, it's alright my house isn't far." I waved bye and walked home.
Once I climbed the brick wall (very difficult) and reached my window pane, I had to pull my entire body inside. My ankle still hurt alot from that impact, but I didn't care. My lights were still off as I crawled into bed.
"Did you have fun?" A voice called out from the darkness.
Oh no. This is not happening.
