Chapter 18. Come back home with me

"Ji Eun?" Kai whispered. "You were here all this time?" Kai couldn't believe what he saw.

"Uhh... Kai, we can explain." Suho reacted.

"Ji Eun? Why didn't you came back? Why?" Kai asked like a little child, not caring about the others in the house.

Ji Eun stared at Kai mischievously. She couldn't believe what she saw, either. She couldn't believe that Kai was there. 

"Ji Eun? Please, I'm sorry." Kai muttered as he walked slowly towards Ji Eun who is hiding behind Chanyeol now.

"Kai, stop it." Chanyeol warned.

"Get out of the way Chanyeol, I have to talk to Ji Eun." Kai's tone started to fire up.

"No. She doesn't even want to talk to you." Chanyeol grinned.

"Get out of the way or else.." Kai stared into Chanyeol, like he was completely mad.

"Or else what?" Chanyeol tested Kai.

"Stop it both of you! I don't want to talk to you, Kai! Please just leave!" Ji Eun shouted as she ran towards Chanyeol's room.

Ji Eun locked her herself up in Chanyeol's room and Kai and Chanyeol both ran to knock at the door. 

"Hey Ji Eun. Please, open up. I won't let him get near to you." Chanyeol tried to persuade Ji Eun but it didn't work.

Kai stared at Chanyeol. Everybody stared at the both of them. Kai slowly walked towards the door. His facing turning red and his tears slowly escaping. When he got near the door, Kai sniffed and cried.

"Ji Eun-ah. I'm so sorry. I'm sorry I got mad without any reason. I really am. If you just give me the chance to talk to you, please, I will explain everything. I'm sorry for telling you all those things. Those bad stuff. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings and I was just carried away by what was going on in my mind that time. Please Ji Eun, please let me talk to you. I missed you a lot. In the days I was without you, it felt like my whole world stopped. It never ran. I am sorry once again, Ji Eun. I really am. Please talk to me." Kai whispered as tears feel down from his eyes down to his cheeks.

Ji Eun, on the other side of the door, thought about what Kai was saying. She wanted to say no but she realized that she really loved Kai. But now, she's confused and she doesn't know what to do.

But, the door didn't opened. Kai wondered why.

"Yah Kai and Chanyeol, come down here. Let's have a talk." Suho ordered.

Kai and Chanyeol went down side-by-side. The others, who just finished eating, followed Suho and Kris in the room--A very spacious one like a meeting room. As they were all inside room, Kris decided to speak.

"We are all brothers here, right?" Kris cleared his manly voice. "Then, we should treat each other like brothers." He added.

"We should not fight or get angry in this house, no matter how deep it is to be mad with." Suho supported Kris.

"Suho's right." Kris replied.

Suho looked at Kai and Chanyeol.

"Even though there's something so big our brother did, we always have to accept them and still forgive them. Because no matter what happens, they will still be on our side when we come back." Suho said sincerely.

"We are one?" Kris asked.

"We are one!" All the boys cheered.

After the talk was finished, almost everyone left the room except for Chanyeol and Kai. The awkward silence filled the spaces between the two who were just sitting in their chairs.
