Wrong Place. Wrong Time.

Shock. Fear.

The sound of flights being called over the PA system became distant as Tom Hiddleston made his way out of the terminal and into the crisp autumn air. He took a deep breath of air and proceeded to gagged as he inhaled exhaust fumes as well. His friend, Benedict Cumberbatch chuckled at him and Tom gave him a half-hearted glare. The two had just landed at the airport in the U.S. and were now waiting for their ride. Ben put his sunglasses on his face as Tom did the same.

The friends decided to walk a little ways away from the crowds in hopes of not being recognised. The plan seemed to work at first. Then the sound of voices reached their ears and they turned and saw three young ladies walking toward them. Tom and Ben put smiles on their faces and got ready to sign some autographs. Two of the girls seemed excited while the third was acting a little odd. Tom and Ben didn't think much of it until the sound of a gun clicking caught their attention.

Their heads snapped up from the autograph they were signing and one if the girls, a red head, said quietly

"Laney, what the hell are you doing?" She sounded scared.

Laney didn't answer all she did was grin wickedly and tightened her finger on the trigger. She had it aimed at Tom's chest and Tom slowly raised his hands in the air. He was confused and all he wanted was to get out of the situation without getting the girls, Ben, (even having a gun aimed at him doesn't stop Tom from thinking about others before himself) or himself shot.

With his hands in the air he desperately thinks of something to say. All that comes to mind are cliché quotes from bad cop shows when the gun man has a gun held to an innocent person's head. Tom's at a loss as to what to do and before he can say or do anything the sound of a gun shot echos around and then the white hot pain hits him.

He looks down and sees blood quickly soaking the left side of his chest below his ribs. He drops to his knees as he hears Ben shout his name. Tom tries to respond because he hears the fear in Ben's voice. He can't answer. His mind has gone foggy and the last thing he hears is Ben shouting his name right as his world goes dark.
