「Chapter One」

こんにちは！しろしろちゃさん has returned. After watching the live action and rewatching season one and two of Kakegurui, I decided hey why not do something like this.

♢ There will be season two characters and there will be spoliers so if you haven't watched it, do not proceed

♤ I'm not the best writer so please bear with my lack of grammar skills and mistakes you may notice. Also there will be quite a few POV changes

♧ Also in this universe, the student concil consists of Kirari, Ririka, Itsuki, Midari, Yuriko, Runa, Yumemi and Kaede.

Mary's POV - After school and Leaving for home late

I can't believe keep getting held late just because of Yumeko's gambling! How the hell did she go on for hours? How can a simple game go on for so long? At least I can finally go home- huh? Runa walks into a classroom up head and shuts the door behind her. Oh? What's this? Runa is a third year student so why is she here?

Walking towards the classroom as quietly as possible, I make my way to a slight crack in the door Runa didn't go through. I hear voices coming from the room- hold on I thought everyone from these classes left, we'll aside from Midari and anyone else on the Student Council. I carefully place down my bag and the voices stop. Shit did they hear me? I freeze in my place and it doesn't sound like someone is coming towards me. The crack isn't big enough so see properly...maybe I can push it just a little bit.

I slowly push the door open to a point of where I can see inside the room-

Well, isn't that a sight?

That's the last thing I'd expect...

Wait no, no, no this isn't right. Does no one else know or something? I reach over to my bag and take out phone. Gotta make sure flash is off first anndd...got it. I snap a few pictures before getting my bag and walking off. This is some interesting information.

I should be heading home now shouldn't I...Runa Yomotsuki. This'll be interesting.

● Next Day - Before the first class●

As I walk up the stairs her a familiar voice behind me. "Good morning Mary!" Yumeko says reaching for a hug. I grab her hand and pull her in. "Mary? Is everything okay? I'm not complaining about the hugs though!" She says hugging back with enthusiasm. Resting my head on her shoulder, I let out of a loud sigh. "Yumeko...you're strangely cuddly and it's unsettling." I say quietly. "Aww I'll take that as a compliment!" Yumeko says happily as she pulls away.

"Good morning ladies and gentleman." Yumeko and I turn to see Yumiko and Midari walking up the stairs. Yumeko swiftly hides behind me and peeks over my shoulder. "Good morning Yuriko." I respond. Midari briefly smiles at me and Ryota "G'morning you two." She says, completely ignoring Yumeko. "Come on now Midari-" Midari cuts off Yuriko by grabbing her hand and placing a finger under her chin. "We should be going now Yuriko, alright? Good girl." Midari says in a sickeningly sweet voice and drags her off. Yuriko gives us a small wave and they disappear in the crowd of students.

That was strange that Midari completely ignored Yumeko like that. Yumeko perks up and grabs me from behind "U-uh what the hell?"I almost yell at her. "We should head to class now should we. Ma-ry." She says. This girl... "Alright let's go. And get off of me would ya!" I yell trying to pry her off.

♤ Third Person POV ♤

"Ahh~ that meeting dragged on forever!" Itsuki says stretching her arms in the air. "Oh please that was just 45 minutes." Kaede says closing his computer. "45 minutes I could've been sleeping!" Itsuki says before letting out a loud yawn. Itsuki peeks at Kaede from the end of her eyes "I'm so glad your back. Now I just need you to fall for me." She smiles as she says this to herself.

"What was that?" Runa says walking up to Itsuki. "U-uh nothing important!!" Itsuki panicking slightly. "Sure Itsuki sure. Anyyyway, Kaede..."

♧ Itsuki's POV ♧

It's amazing how she talks to him so easily. Even when I do, I don't have much to talk to him about. Maybe I'm just too self-conscious around him. Ugh I just need to get closer to him. I pick up my bag and start to walk out of the room. "Our classes don't start for a little while so why not hang out around here?" Runa says to Munyuda. Hold on...does she me they'll be alone? There no way Kaede would-

"I have time to spare I suppose. Did you want to talk about something?" He says. "Oh come on, you say it like I'm a burden." Runa says giggling. I mean he accept but he's being colder than when he speaks to me so maybe it's fine. I quickly walk out of the room and shut the door behind me.

I'm so paranoid for nothing...Yomotsuki-senpai is like this with everyone. Right what am I worried about- I'm suddenly knocked back and onto the floor. "O-ow..." A familiar gloved hand reaches down to me. "My apologies Itsuki-" I take her hand and hug her tightly. "Miraa!!"

"H-Huh? Is something the matter?" She says wrapping her arms around me. "I feel like I'm going crazy!" I whisper. "Alright so there's some time before classes so let's talk K?" She says with a smile. She's such a nice friend. After the whole 'Greater Good' game, her and I got closer and became pretty good friends.

"Ahh I get it. You're worried about Runa getting close to Kaede. Or more being close to him in general. Why don't you just ask either one how long they've know each other?" Mira says as she rubs my shoulder. "I mean I could but I've been through this phase with lot of his female freinds! Maybe I should just to get answers?" Mira sighs before getting up "Is he worth it if it's causing you so much distress?" She states in serious yet concerned tone.

"H-He is! He already cares about me so maybe I can-"

"Are you sure you aren't making excuses?" She says interrupting me. I'm not! I can make him fall for me! I'm sure of it! We grew pretty close during my first time in the council. Though we've never hung out outside of school...that can easily be fixed!

"I'm sure I'm not. Thank you for your concern. We should be headed our classes now! I'll see you later Mira!" I pick up my bag and start speed walking to my next class. Haha I'm not making excuses.
