Chapter Nine - Game night

Chloe's P.O.V
School was great. Charli, Addison and I are going to have a sleep over this Friday. Pacing all my stuff in my bag and ready to go home. On my way out I met Mattia at the hall way, he greets me an we chat for a while "so your coming right?" ask Mattia

Alejandro's P.O.V
I was going to go out until I stop because of Chloe and Mattia. I walk towards them and greets Chloe "hey Chloe, need a ride home?" I ask cutting her conversation with Mattia "hey Ale, I'll just take the bus" she smiled. Looking at the bus stop, the bus had already left "but the bus had just left" I pointed the bus "I'll take your offer then" she say "great" to be honest, I don't like seeing Chloe with Mattia. I have a bad feeling for Mattia, after everything. Chloe says goodbye to Mattia and leave.

The car ride was loud, we sing along to every song on the radio until we stop "hey do you have any plans tonight?" I groggily ask her "yeah, Im going to watch the soccer game tonight with Mattia, he's playing actually. Im going with Addison and Charli" he must have asked her this morning or probably at class.

I drop her off and drive off. I stop and park on the side road to text Noen

A: hey Noen, wanna watch a soccer game tonight?
N: uhh sure, never thou that u would ask
A: yeah thanks, we'll meet up at school at 7 okay
N: okay

And then I drove back home

Chloe's P.O.V
Its 6 pm now and Im getting ready for the game, Mattia texted me that he can't pick me up because of extra practice, so Charli is going to pick me up with Addison. A honk from outside shook me and with that I run downstairs "hey mom I'm leaving, bye" I wave "okay honey, be back before 11" she waves back
"I will mom" and so I open the door and run to Charli's car.

"Hey" they both smiled "hey" I jump in the car "soo.. you and Mattia. Whats up?" Charli asked, looking at Addison "what!" I look at Charli and Addison "you and Mattia" Addison clarify "we're friends, you can't expect me to fall in love with a boy I've just met in a week" I sit back "love at first sight exists you know" Addison smirks "whatever. Bryce isn't coming?" I ask "no. His uncle is coming to visit him today so he decided to stay". The way there was just the three of us singing songs and talking about boys.

We parked at Charli's usual parking spot. It was quite crowded there. A lot of couples making out. And I found Mattia "hey!" he came running with his water bottle "hey, good luck there" I smiled "yeah, thanks" he say as he runs to the field. Me, Addison and Charli walk up the stairs to take a seat, but before I sit I got a text from an unknown number, hey meet me at the storage room. It's important. Don't ask just meet me. ASAP!

With that I told both of them that I'm going to the toilet. (storage room is like the janitors room but bigger and outside school. The kids here call them the storage room) I walk fast to the storage room because that unknown number says that it's important. What if someone needs help. I always overthink stuff. I rush my way there and open the door. No one was there. That room was quite big, so I get inside and look around. Still, no one was there. I keep on looking until I hear the door closes "shit" I whispered "hello! Who's there" a guy ask. I didn't know who he is. I run to see who the guy is.

"Mattia?" I confuses "Chloe?" He's also confused "whats so important that I have to come here ASAP?" I ask "important? What's so important? I don't know. Why are you here?" He ask "I'm here because someone texted me to come here. An unknown number. What are you doing here?" I explained and ask "I- umh, I have a secret hideout here. I left something here and I have to take it" a secret hideout, thats cool. He walks to the wall on the right and opens a small door.

I was going to go out and turn the door handle but "uhh Mattia" I call "yeah?" he gets inside the hideout "the door is locked" I turn around to see him going out from his hideout "what!" He looks at me "the door is locked" god, please. I don't want to get stuck here "shit, no, no, no" he runs towards the door and tries to open the door. over and over. He tried to break the door but it didn't work "shit" he shouted. I started to panic and move around the room. I always panic when I'm lock in a room "hey, Its okay. Don't panic, come here. But promise me you won't tell anybody" with that I nod and he directs me to his secret room.

The room was actually kind of big. It fits 6 or 7 people there "wanna tell me about this place" I ask "yeah, sure. So we found this room 1 year ago.l, sophomore year. Me, Kairi and an old friend. We found this place when the coach ask us to take the cones for soccer practice" he explained. I waned to ask about his old friend but knowing he said old friend, he might not want to talk about it.
