"There's a spring dance coming up," Donghyuk said to Junhoe that Monday morning, "this Saturday. It's just a celebration for the break."
"Oh," Junhoe whispered, "Has anyone asked you or—I mean have you asked anyone?"
"I don't really have my sights set on anyone you know? I just want to have fun with Jinhwan and my friends," Donghyuk sighed softly as he thought to himself, but an ear-splitting smile came on his face as Jinhwan came over to them as they sat in the dim and desolate library of their school. The older hugged Donghyuk tightly as if they hadn't just seen one another merely an hour ago.
"Me and Donghyukkie have a set color," Jinhwan said, "It's baby blue."
"So, you two are going together?" Junhoe asked with a bit of a shit-eating grin on his face making Donghyuk's face go a bit red.
"We are a bit of a package deal," Jinhwan stated as he brushed some of Donghyuk's long blacks locks and sighed a bit looking at Junhoe, "I'm sorry I wasn't able to control the way things panned out Friday... at the pizza parlor..."
The air got thick with guilt now. It felt as oppressing as the spring sun. And it felt like Junhoe had to be the cloud to block it out and give it a rest.
"It's... it's okay and—" Junhoe stopped seeing Hanbin now. He had flowers in hand, beautiful spring flowers—not to mention baby blue ones. Akin to that of Donghyuk's smile and Jinhwan's beauty, nothing like Junhoe. He was like the winter, ugly and cold, unwelcoming, while they were... wellspring, but there were bad things about spring he did suppose.
"Hanbin?" Jinhwan turned around as Hanbin looked flustered, eyes red and forehead sweaty.
"Hyung, you're so cute!" Donghyuk said as Hanbin opened his mouth yet nothing came out.
"We were just apologizing again to Junhoe," Jinhwan said softly as Hanbin looked at Junhoe nodding softly as he put his hand up as if he was reading it over.
"So, first—um—I'm glad to find you in good spirits Junhoe! I... uh... I was quite the jerk back at the pizza parlor. I think you are such a lovely person and for me to attack you like that and the way you manage your emotions was wrong of me..." Hanbin said as his eyes cleared. Junhoe could see something in them, a fear? A hatred? Possibly because he saw something of himself in Junhoe that he, himself, didn't want to face.
"It's okay, hyung," Junhoe whispered, "It's not nearly as bad as you are making yourself feel. But..." Junhoe caught Yunhyeong and Bobby in another table acting as if they were doing work or... like Bobby trying to read a book upside down. Junhoe knee what was happening so softly he continued, "I don't think you came to initially apologize to me."
