Life was getting boring for Han Jisung, waking up, getting dressed, going to work, pondering over his hopeless crush on that customer who goes to the cafe he works at everyday, going home, and then sleeping. He wanted something to break the cycle, no, he needed something to break the cycle. So he gathered enough courage to himself, grabbed the sticky note and placed it on the drink that the cute boy ordered.

"Hi, this drink's on the house"

The cutie who ordered the same thing everyday, looked around to check whoever gave him the drink, locked eyes with a blushing Jisung and smiled. No one was at the shop except him, Jisung and the boy at the register who was on a phone call so he just assumed that it was the barista that gave him the drink. He shyly stood and went to the counter, drink in one hand, the other fiddling with his fingers, he huffed and tapped on the smaller boy's shoulder.

"Hey, thanks for the drink, you didn't have to.." The cutie said just above a whisper.

"Oh, it's no biggie, nothing wrong with treating someone...." Jisung fakes a cough "...cute" Said boy, smiled while his puffy cheeks showed. "Jisung"

"Hyunjin" 'Hyunjin', Jisung thought, 'what a pretty name'

Jisung did the best he could to keep the conversation going as Hyunjin slowly sipped on his coffee, laughing along to Jisung's senseless jokes. Jisung ended up wanting more time with Hyunjin so he asked if the said boy wanted to go out after the end of his shift, surprisingly, Hyunjin agreed.

Mind quite in a puzzle and heart in a race, Jisung waits patiently for Hyunjin to come back to the cafe. As the taller enters, the smaller lights up and greets with a smile, cracking such a cheesy line

"Welcome back to my favourite customer"

Skipping along central park, they talked about the goofiest things to the most serious of details. Jisung couldn't help but notice the most minuet detail, like how Hyunjin's eyes crinkle when he laughs and smiles, or how Hyunjin is the most dramatic person he's ever met.

Hyunjin was no different, he had listened to enough of Jisung's stories to realize he was into production, Jisung wanted to make a movie one day and Hyunjin hopes to see it. He also noticed how Jisung puffs out his cheeks when he looks upset. The evening was spent with small laughs and light touches on the hands that lead to intertwined fingers as the boys walked home.
