"Eliza!! Come and help over here in section C, our patient here needs to get his legs checked!! Please? " A voice echoing through the hospital wards. A young lad by the name of Elizabeth, also known by the name of Eliza. A beautiful young nurse who loves helping people. "Coming, give me 2 mins to close off this wound." She stated out to the fellow nurse, after she was done with the current patient, she began walking towards the so called 'section c' of the hospital building. "I'm sorry I'm late, i was a bit busy as you can see, our-.... " She stopped dead in her words as she went inside the room of the so called patient she was supposed to check, it was a young man, who looked to be the same age as her it seems. "Is something wrong?? " He asked, flustered, Eliza almost choked on her own saliva. She quickly laughed the question away saying that she just dozed off, the windows of the room were open. Cool breezed air winds in through the open windows and sunlights shone the room makin it look like the room was filled with honeysuckle. An hour and a half pass by, Eliza stood up from her stool and reassured her patient that his leg was quite okay for now, it looked as if it was fractured a bit, she went on asking how he had hurted his foot. He shyly exclaimed that he had tried to catch a butterfly for a little girl living in the city, butterflies were really rare to be seen in the big city, us nurses were sent to the countryside for our work so we often would see them. He also quoted "I'm going back to the city pretty soon, but seems i can't leave yet" Filled with questions i became curious, why can't he leave? Was it because of his leg? But it would only need about a day to heal. I then gathered up the courage i had left and asked my question, "why can't you leave yet? Are you having any troubles? Is it because of your leg?? " I questioned him. He laughed at my question, my heart skipped a beat, his smile shook me as if their was an earthquake. "No no, it's just that... How can i leave when I've met someone as beautiful as you". Am i hearing this right, this man, who manage to take my heart as soon as i laid my eyes on him, wanted me as well? He then continued, " I'm not leaving untill i win your heart, my lady. So tell me this, are you ready to go on an adventure with me love? "... Silence filled the room. Eliza was extremely flustered, but soon agreed to the question. The man's name was Alexander, he's 26 years old while I'm 22,not that much of an age gap i see. He works as an engineer for a firm, while i worked as a countryside nurse. He's unseemly kind and helpful, his smile can light up the whole room. He's not rich like many others who also works his job, but he still has good income, good enough to even start a family. It's been a year since that incident. He hasn't left yet, i wonder how that girl that he tried to get a butterfly for, is living as, is she well? "Evening, my love. Have i been making my beautiful woman wait?" Oh when is he gonna stop being this flirty with me,tho I'm not complaining. "Yes, I've waited. Where were you, I'm not getting any younger" I exclaimed thinking he forgot about our date. "Sorry sorry, but when I was on my way here i was stopped midway because i saw the most beautiful thing i have ever seen, it was a bouquet of daisies with sprinkles of baby breaths around the sides making me almost lose my breath on the side. So i decided, that the most beautiful thing must be together with another beautiful being" With that, he got on one knee, i didn't know what was happening, he took out the flowers and showed them to me, "here, on this day, I exclaim my love for you, from the day i met you i had fallen deep into the tunnel of what you call love, i want nothing but to spend the rest of my life with the person i love so.... Will the beautiful Eliza take my hand in marriage?" I was stunned and speechless. "Oh and i also got this ring to match the flowers" He smiled, oh that beautiful smile and this wholesome idiot whom i adored, "of course i accept"
And so they thought they were finally happy.... Oh they don't know what the future is bringing them.
