"You know, you sure do talk a lot." Larxene's words were blunt, yet honest.

-

(Y/n) sat alone; the cool evening breeze glided through her (h/l) hair, and she could have sworn she saw a tumbleweed in the corner of her eye. The world sure does get lonely when nothing makes sense and you don't have anyone to complain about it to.

There was something on (Y/n)'s mind; or someone, rather. She'd been on her mind a lot lately, more often than (Y/n) cared to admit.

"Hey, loser. What are you doing out here all alone?" A familiar voice called out to her from below.

(Y/n)'s feet were dangling off the roof of a low building. She didn't even need to look down to know who was addressing her, but she did anyway. Below her was a woman clad in a tight leather coat that hugged her body in all the right ways. Her hair was almost as bold as she was; it was a saturated blonde, short in length, and stood up at the front in the form of two antenna. Her eyes were a vibrant emerald green, and seemed to glimmer in the setting sun's light. To (Y/n), Larxene was beautiful.

"Just thinking.." (Y/n) replied honestly, gazing back out at the clouds whose hues resembled those of cotton candy.

Larxene was difficult to read, her true feelings always hidden behind insults and contempt. (Y/n) was beguiled by her, ever since they first met. Mysterious as she was, Larxene wasn't very subtle either. For some odd reason, she would disappear from time to time. (Y/n) would search everywhere, but to no avail; Like she'd disappeared off the face of the earth. Without fail though, Larxene would come back, and for unapprehended reasons, she would always come back just to see (Y/n).

"Move over, I'm sitting here with you." Larxene demanded. If it were anyone else, (Y/n) would have become livid from their tone and wouldn't oblige to the request, but this wasn't anyone else.

Larxene hopped up and plopped beside (Y/n), looking out at the clouds with her.

"That cloud looks like Demyx, a piece of shi-" Larxene's remark was cut short when a strong gust of wind blew in from the east, making her to brace herself.

(Y/n) had only met Demyx twice, but each time he ended up being the butt of her jokes. Larxene could be brutal sometimes, especially to the people she referred to as colleagues. I guess that's why she was know as the Savage Nymph.

Larxene got frustrated when she tried to fixed her wind swept hair but it wouldn't co-operate with her. (Y/n) couldn't help but chuckle at the skirmish between Larxene and her coiffure, earning a harsh glare from Larxene that made the hairs on (Y/n)'s neck stand on edge.

"S-sorry." (Y/n) stammered, the color draining from her face.

Larxene looked at (Y/n) discombobulated before her mouth contorted into a mischievous grin. Larxene pulled her delicate hand off from where it was resting on her lap, and placed it on (Y/n)'s cheek. Larxene looked at (Y/n)'s face and noted her rounded eyes, raised brows, and slack expression as her hand rested against her face. (Y/n) felt a deep blush creeping onto her cheeks, she looked at Larxene bewildered. Larxene - who was usually dauntless - hesitated and pulled her hand away swiftly. (Y/n)'s expression fell and she appeared to be disappointed by the absence of Larxene's touch.

"Larxene," (Y/n) mustered the courage to speak again after a few long moments of silence, "Where do you always disappear to? You know, when you're here with me one day, and then gone the next. I never know where you are, no matter how hard I look." (Y/n)'s expression solemn as she stared blankly at their dangling feet.

Larxene pondered the question for what felt like eternity. Turning to face the (h/c) girl beside her, she spoke, "It's complicated, but to put it simply; I work in an organization full of idiots. It may come as a surprise to you, but I am incapable of having feelings, or so I'm told.. The goal of the organization I'm in is to regain our hearts. Organization 13...." She paused, looking into (Y/n)'s (e/c) eyes, "You know, a life without feeling is a life not worth living." Larxene's words were honest and profound. It was unlike her to loosen her defenses like this, and seeing as who (Y/n) was dealing with, it had to have been for good reason.

"I know you're not into trivial matters like this, but when you're gone, I really miss your witty remarks and belittling retorts. I really miss you.." (Y/n) trailed off, her voice portraying her elicit recollection perfectly, so much so even Larxene picked up on it.

Her cheeks became dusted with a light pink, "You know, you sure do talk a lot." Larxene's words were blunt, yet honest. She was extremely flustered by (Y/n)'s heartfelt words and didn't know how to react, so she simply averted her gaze and tried to hold the butterflies swelling in the pit of her stomach at bay.

"It's true," (Y/n) giggled at Larxene's brusque nature; after all, that's the reason she began falling in love with her in the first place, "but it's also true that a life without feeling is a life not worth living. When I'm around you I feel so many things that I can't even disern between those feelings anymore."

Larxene always found the concept of love grotesque; she didn't understand it and was unwilling to, that was until she met (Y/n).

"I hate you less than everyone else." Larxene quailed at her own words after they escaped her lips, afraid that it sounded too harsh and that (Y/n) would get the wrong idea. "Pfft, what's gotten into me?" Larxene thought to herself, "since when to I care about how other people feel? It's gross.."

To Larxene's perplexion, (Y/n) understood what she was trying to say perfectly, going on to reveal that the feeling was requited, "I love you too." (Y/n) let a tenuous laugh escape her throat as she brought her hand up to fix a stray strand of Larxene's disheveled hair.

Larxene leaned into her touch; drawing closer and closer, even after (Y/n) pulled her hand away. The two closed their eyes and braced for impact. Soft lips met one another. Like a magnet, the seemed drawn together. If (Y/n) didn't know any better, she'd have thought Larxene was using her electric abilities, because sparks were flying, and (Y/n)'s passion was kindled.

Larxene wrapped her arms around (Y/n)'s neck. When they pulled back for air, she drew her into a tight embrace, holding (Y/n) against the crook of her neck and stroking her (h/c) hair lovingly.

"You'd better not make my hair staticky." (Y/n) quipped against Larxene's collar, her tone was absent of malice and full of adoration.

"Hmph~ quit your complaining, loser," Larxene said as she continued to caress (Y/n)'s hair, "maybe I do have a heart after all.." She concluded in low murmur.

"What was that last part? I didn't quite hear you." (Y/n) probed, genuinely unaware.

  Larxene grinned, "Oh, nothing."
