Chapter 11

The Chunin exams began not long after, the children gathered together in the building where the first examination took place in their teams. Of course, there was already some brewing tension as a guy in a green jumpsuit was on the floor in front of the door, the crowd seemed to be mocking him, "Haha! you plan to the chunin exam with that!? You should quit now!" 

"You're just a little kid!" 

"Please let us through..." a Chinese looking girl with two buns said meekly, the crowd didn't notice the team behind watching everything, the girl standing in front of the team was wearing a straw hat and was wearing a loose robe and wooden clogs that barely made any noise, her hair hung loosely reaching her hips and swaying with every step she took, her eyes were covered by the hat so no one could see anything passed her stoic facade. She glanced at the genjutsu before walking away going up to the second floor. 

It wasn't long before the girl stopped after feeling rumbling under her feet. 

"Some idiot is fighting" the boy behind spouted with an underlying excitement itching to join in holding on to his scythe this headband hanging from his neck, the blonde next to him was still a bit shy but his personality leaked a little as it was clear he was extremely eager to also join in and test his Jutsu. "Why the impatience? Soon enough..." She didn't have the heart to smile, she still wants to see what's so great about those kids. 

The first thing she noticed was the Sharingan, she smirked wondering if she could emulate that, why not? Ah... is that a giant turtle? Her interest had decreased by half so she left the boys to entertain themselves and went on by herself. She waited in the crowded classroom by herself listening in to the conversations before her teammates appeared bickering between each other on who would fight who, she shook her head noticing Kabuto approaching the kids, and she read his lips saying the girl in the straw hat. He wouldn't have any information on her since he knew nothing about her, she wondered whether he would try to kill her during the exams, no - he was smarter than that.  

The test soon began. 

she didn't bother, the loud teammate was asleep while the other just stared blankly at the paper, he couldn't read, she made a mental note to teach him later. 

For the last question she didn't bother speaking, Naruto was so loud her eardrums were ringing, she wondered how the cute kid turned into this overconfident brat, he didn't have any problem answering most of the questions so he wasn't as anxious as he was original. She could even spot Gaara intensely staring at him in confusion, it would be cute if they became friends this time when he wasn't emotionally abused by his father.

The day passed with her team going to the next stage. 

Anko was crazy, it was hard to keep up with her hype, she just waited patiently glancing at Orochimaru among the crowd and he glanced at her and they both nodded subtly, they quickly signed the consent forms and picked up their scroll which was a heaven scroll. 

"READY!?" She and her boys looked at each other. 

"Be quick with who you kill let's get this done in an hour, I do not enjoy being surrounded by insects..." Hidan smirked. 

"GO!" 

They immediately split up with her flying towards the tower, the number of shits she gave towards this arc was absolutely zero, she just had to make it to the final tournament.

"Congratulations! you're the first person here!" The person to greet them was Shikaku, someone she hadn't paid attention to in the first test, she smirked and didn't look at him, he was a fine middle-aged man now wit the same lay look in his eyes, she actually felt a bit of nostalgia. 

Seeing that she didn't reply Shikaku got suspicious but she didn't allow him to gather any more clues, she swiftly turned away going to wait the 5 days out, she allowed her teammates to go have fun in the forest but warned them not to be late.

Hidan was ecstatic, he heard a loud scream and headed there first leaving Deidara to his own devices which included stalking the other blonde boy with blue eyes and a bright orange jumpsuit who was currently knocked unconscious with his trousers halfway down his legs. Deidera approached him cautiously, poking him a few times before sampling him harshly causing him to wake up with a sudden jolt. 

"What!? Where! hEIIIIIIII!" He scurried back once he noticed Deidera jumping up and taking a fighting stance. 

"pfft-... Your trousers..." He looked down with his face turning beet red, he quickly struggled to pull them back up and the blonde boy in front of him burst out laughing. "

"Who are you anyway!?" Naruto clearly wasn't amused that he was being laughed out by a random kid in the forest. "Are you stupid? Like I'm gonna tell you who I am, the better question is why were you knocked unconscious?" Naruto froze as if suddenly realizing he was alone he glared at Deidera before rushing off to find his teammates. 

"...Shit" he jumped out of the way only for a seal to explode in the are he stood a few seconds ago, Deidera looked up to see two ninjas on the trees and paled, if he got injured Mikoto san would be upset. 

Time to run! 

"Jumpsuit kid! Wait for me!"
