Chapter 1.

" Liz I'm sorry but it's not working out with us and more," stated Brandon. " Its so hard with us going to different schools this year. Your going to private and I'm going to public"

I didn't know what to say. He was breaking up with me in the same spot he asked me to be his girl friend 7 months ago next week.

" I'm gonna meet new people and I wouldn't want to risk the chance of cheating on you," he said.

" But we made love, you said you loved me and you were scared to loose me, I gave you my virginity and your leaving me!" I was so hurt but if he didn't want anything to do with me now he wouldn't want anything to do with me when I told him I was pregnant. I decided to keep to my self on that one. I could raise our baby by my self.

" Liz were 17 years old no one can be in love this early in life," he spoke " ..that's why we have to break up.. to meet other people so we can fall in love "

"But I love you Brandon," I said almost shedding a tear. "I don't want to love any body else but you I want to be with you forever." That tear fell down the corner of my eye as I spoke to him.

"Don't cry lizzie, I'm sorry but I don't have those kind of feelings for you anymore," more tears came crashing down. "that's why we need to break up "

"okay" was all I could say to him while my mind was scramming through a million questions I wanted to ask him. And the thought of how I was going to support my baby. My mouth just wouldn't speak the questions I wanted ask or the thought I wanted to say. So all I could say was "okay"

Brandon embraced me with a hug and said " Thanks for understanding Liz, you'll always have a place in my heart." With that he kissed me on the fore head turned around and walked up the beach of our favorite lake.

I cried for a life time it felt like. When it started to get dark I pulled my jacket close and walked home. When I got home I went to my room with out dinner or speaking to any one closed the door and cried my self to sleep.
