Your poems were worth the read
No jargon
Just right for your audience
It was like second hand smoking
I was on a new high
Wanting more and more
And then more of you
Poets make great lovers
Or was I getting ahead of myself?
I've been yearning for another man's touch
You gripped me as tight as your pen
Or was it a pencil?
We never did much poetry talk
Were you indirectly writing poetry inside me?
Was sex the new poetry?
It was irresistible
And so were you
I wanted to keep things casual
What was I thinking?
I didn't want to be one of many
Just us, poets
Writing our poems
Making poetry until we fall into a weed induced coma
That's a turn on
You're too
But you like the idea of keeping things casual
You like to explore
To keep the poetry flowing
To keep yourself alive
With the moans of many
Thought mine would suffice
Thought we could knock heads
Thought we could make our own poetry
And just like smoke you fade away
Until I relight memories of us
But you're just a poet
Thinking about a new poem to write.Poet: Rosie Mars
