Lily's POV

I quickly messaged Dexter, thanking him for telling me about what was going on. I knew every drama page was going to hop on this, so I didn't bother commenting as it'd probably only make things worse, plus I didn't even know what I could possibly reply with.

Jaden joined me in the kitchen and quickly noticed the stressed-out look on my face.
"What's up?" He softly wondered, gently joining my side as I lent over the counter on my phone.
I gave him a small smile, clearly fake.
"The picture got back to Mads. People haven't reacted too badly or anything but I'm expecting it to get worse. Here, look..."
I showed him the tweet that I had up on my phone, and once he read it he gave me a soft smile in return to my own before grabbing his own phone out of the pocket of his sweats.
"Whatcha doing?" I wondered curiously, now standing up straight to look directly at him, though he was looking at his phone.
"Jayyy, what are you doing?"
In response to my question, he showed me his phone screen, which was now opened up on Twitter too, where he'd put:

Not your business anymore.

It was simple and true, obviously, but I couldn't help feeling like that wasn't going to help at all.
I looked at him quizically, though couldn't help the small smile forming for some odd reason- I guess I just couldn't be mad at him.
"Really? People are gonna freak-"
"Who cares? Like seriously?" He cut me off, though his voice was much softer than I'd expected it to be. I looked at him for a moment, unable to put my thoughts into words for a couple of seconds.
"You really don't care what they have to say, do you?"
He shook his head, smiling as if I'd finally got it.
"No, I don't. Do you? Like do you really care?"
I shrugged, "I guess not." I mean, if he wasn't bothered by it then why should I have been?
"Good... I don't like when you're stressed or whatever." He hesitantly stated, making me inwardly and outwardly 'awe'.
"This is why I wuv you!" I exclaimed, getting onto my tiptoes to engulf him in a tight hug. I'd used wuv instead of love for as long as I could remember, because it meant less but it still got the same message across. Saying 'love' was just a lot, it was a whole new level of trust and you opened yourself up to getting hurt in a whole other way.

"I wuv you too." Jaden replied mindlessly, squeezing me a little tighter. The first time I'd said 'wuv', he said he loved me too, and I obviously had to correct him. Jokingly, sure, he can say he loves me or whatever, but if he was being serious then I didn't know how I'd react.

Our moment was interrupted by a loud "Awwwww!" Echoing through the house, making me jump back from Jaden to see Bryce, Josh and Anthony, and of course Bryce had his phone out.
I rolled my eyes as I laughed, looking at Jaden to see that he shared my look, and was already looking at me which made us both smile a little wider.
"Hey, can I post this one too?" Bryce asked, clearly asking Jaden, who turned to me with a shrug.
"Can he?" He sweetly asked, and I nodded, making his smile widen.
"Yeah, go for it."
"Ugh just kith already!" Anthony exclaimed, for some reason faking a lisp which made me giggle again.
"Whatever. I need to go get ready, Bryce if you post that then tag us!" I told him, making my way past the boys.
"I will!" Bryce replied.

I took a cold shower to help wake me up, washed my hair and brushed my teeth before drying my hair and getting changed, of course adding some makeup too.
