Adele sat at her husband's desk, watching him as he paced the floor in front of his father, uncles, and aunt, rambling to himself. He was pissed, and she couldn't blame him. None of them were taking this seriously. They acted as if this was a game in which they were getting knocked off like chess pieces, but they chose to stay quiet. Chris showing up at their doorstep should have been a warning that Ghost was tired of sitting back in the shadows. He wanted to be known and feared, but Axel seemed to be unfazed by it all.

But that wasn't her problem at the moment. It was Chris, and how she could feel his eyes on her. She felt uncomfortable and wondered if it was her skin color or did he think she was beautiful. Whichever it was made her feel uncomfortable, but she knew one thing. If Luca had seen him, he would have been a dead man. Yet, Chris was another German man who loved tattoos like the rest of the mafia men she knew.

He was also handsome, with blue eyes that could make any woman but her want him. Adele was happy with her husband and didn't need anyone other than him.

"Please stop staring at me."

"Sorry, I didn't realize I was," Adele spoke before she knew it, and Luca stopped to look between her and Chris, frowning. It was best to tell him not to stare than Luca catching him since he was liable to put a bullet through his head at this point. He was a man, and Luca trust none of them except his father, uncles, and a few of his cousins.

"Do you have a fucking problem with my wife?"

"What?! No, it's nothing like that, Don. Your wife is beautiful, and I didn't mean any disrespect. I didn't realize I was staring— I'm sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable, Donna." Otis laughed since he made it clear from the first day they met that she was beautiful, and he had been telling Luca that one day he would have to kill someone over her. Which he did the day he killed Cash, and if Chris didn't stop while he was ahead, he would be next.

"And she's mine. Make it your first and last time you stare at my Liebe. Yes, she's beautiful, we all know that, but understand the next time I find you staring my fist will meet your throat."

"Yes, Don." Adele felt it wouldn't stop there, but Luca turned back to the others. He rested against the desk to block Chris's view as Obioma walked in. She stopped looking at her son and then shook her head, seeing that his jealous streak was showing. However, he didn't have to worry because she only had eyes for him.

"I'm guessing none of you are going to talk. This is stupid! I'm your Don, and I need to know who the hell this Ghost is. Dad, Uncle Otis, one of your closest friends, is dead, and your sister. Your only sister! Come on, be fucking serious about this. This man had to be scared if he sent his grown son here. Tell Me Something Damnit!"

"He's after us, not you, son. Ghost won't touch you— none of you."

"That's fucking bullshit, and you know it, Axel! All of you know it! You would rather risk your lives than let us help you. If that was so, you should have fucking died when Bridget took your ass and now Aunt Heidi. This man's Father is dead because of this man, and I'll be damn if I sit back and watch you all die!"
