No control.

I had no control over my life as it spiraled farther and farther into the depths of despair that had replaced what was left of my fragile self...

Wow, I sounded like a really bad movie line. The unfortunate part was that I was perfectly describing what had happened my entire life, ever since I was six months old up until the time that I finally turned eleven and learned of my true nature.

The letter that the owl had been carrying was addressed to me, and the return address was some place called "Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry". I almost threw the whole thing away, thinking that it was a bad prank that some kids must be playing and that the plan was for the bird to attack me at any second. Instead, it simply sat there, as if it was waiting for me to open the letter. So I did.

And it changed my entire life.

I know, I know, if you follow my other stories, you're probably thinking, another one? Is she crazy? I'd be crazy not to post this, considering I've written about five parts, plus intro, in about two or three days. It may slow down a little once school starts back, but I love this series and I've always wanted to do a fan-fic based on it. So, I present it to you now, and I hope you enjoy it! :)
