Chelsea's POV

"Okay honey, now don't be afraid. Just try to make some new friends and get to know your teachers. You'll be fine. I'm sure." My mom told me as we arrived in the parking lot in my new school.

"Mom... I've done this 14 times. I'll be okay. I'm use to this. I sighed and looked down, fiddling with my fingers.

"Babe, I know this is hard for you. I promise this is the last time you'll have to switch schools. It's hard with your dad's job constantly being changed. And you know that. Please just try one more time. I really do promise that this will be the last time." I gave her a smile and walked out of the car shutting the door behind me.

"That's what you say every time." I mumbled. I wasn't too dressed up for my first day of school. I was really tired this morning so I just threw on some makeup and some clothes.

As I walked into the school there were kids staring at me like I was some kind of creature from another planet. I hate it here already.

I accidentally knocked into someone as I was rushing to my locker. The guy dropped all his folders, his papers flying everywhere.

"Oh my gosh I am so sorry!" I instantly said, kneeling down to help him pick his things up.

I was trying to grab all his things feeling him stare at me. I looked at him to see him smiling. He was gorgeous. His his hair was perfect, his brown eyes sparkled, and his cute little dimples gave me butterflies.

"It's alright love. I'm Mr. Johnson by the way." He had a hot British accent. He held out his hand and I grabbed it shaking it. Damn it. He's a teacher.

"I'm-"

"You're Chelsea Jones. I know. You're the new student." He cut me off still smiling.

"Um yeah.." I awkwardly answered. We both stood up after gathering all his things then handing him some papers that flew out.

"Now get to your class. You don't want to be late on your first day of school." I smiled at him brightly and then walked away.

I walked into my first period which was English. I sat down on the first open seat I saw. I could feel the students staring at me behind me.

"Um that's my spot.." I looked up to see a boy smiling down at me.

"Oh I'm sorry. I didn't know." I got up and started to move to a new seat.

"I'm just kidding. We don't have assigned seats in this class. I saw you and I had to find an excuse to talk to a beautiful girl like you." I blushed slightly as he spoke.

"I'm Jake by the way." He said. Then I sat back down where I was sitting before and he took the seat behind me. Right then the teacher walked in and the room instantly became dead silent.

It was Mr. Johnson. "Good morning sun shines!" Mr. Johnson said cheekily, his adorable dimples showing.

"Good morning Mr. Johnson" The class replied lazily. Mr. Johnson noticed me and gave me an even bigger smile and I returned the smile.

"Please open up your English textbooks up to page 169" Mr. Johnson spoke. Some of the boys in the room started to chuckle. Wow. They are so immature...

Mr. Johnson started to hand out a worksheet after we finished reading the chapter explaining our assignment.

"So tonight for homework, you will have to finish this worksheet with a partner. You guys can pick who you'd like to work with." After explaining us again on how to complete the work,

Mr. Johnson returned to his desk. I felt someone tapping on my shoulder from behind. Knowing who it was, I turned around to see a happy Jake staring at me.

"So, do I get to know you're name?" He smirked.

"My name is Chelsea." I told him.

"That's a cute name. So Chelsea, would you like to be my partner for this assignment?"I smiled at his cuteness.

"Sure why not." I answered him, giggling.

"Good. Wanna come over to my place after school so we can work on it?" He asked.

"Um yeah okay." I told him turning around back to face Mr. Johnson who was staring at me and Jake. He instantly looked away blushing a little. What's up with him?

The bell rang and all the kids started to rush out the door.

I actually kind of like it here... I hope mom is right and we actually DO stay here for a long time.
