Your POV

"Great job, (y/n)." Your teacher, Sirena, says. She was a private hero trainer, in other words a former Pro Hero, within the oceans, helping train other trainees on how to use their Quirk underwater. "I'm seeing great improvements with your water control. With enough practice, I'll know that it'll be a great tool if and when you fight villains on land."

You bowed your head gently when you both walked the shoreline together. "Thank you, Sirena." You say with a soft smile. Knowing how well you're improving always sparked such a happy, pounding feeling in your heart. Almost mirroring the feelings you had whenever you were nearby Todoroki.

Sirena chuckled softly, walking alongside with you. "Keep it up, and I hope you can graduate into a well-known agency. I would also give them my recommendation because of your hard work."

"Thank you, Sirena. Really, thank you for helping me."

"I wouldn't take all the credit, (y/n). After all, you're the one doing all that work. Proving yourself worthy with your Quirk. In other words, I'm proud to have known and watched you improve over the years. I'm glad to have lend my support to you."

You and Sirena were rounding around the shore, and surprisingly... there was a familiar face among the teenagers. You gasped, putting your hand to your mouth, trying to cover the surprised expression on your face. Behind you, you could hear Sirena chuckling softly.

"Well? Aren't you gonna greet them?"

You nodded, taking a few steps forward. "I'll see you later, Sirena."

"Don't bother- you deserve this break."

A smile grew on your face as you began to run towards this group- running to the one familiar face. He wasn't that hard to point out. After all, his two-toned hair color was sticking out among the group- and maybe his well-built body also stuck out. His eyes seemed to be staring out into the ocean, almost like he was determined to find that one person he's been yearning for.

"Shoto!" You shouted at the top of your lungs as you continued to run.

Todoroki turned towards you, having a satisfied smile on his face. "(y/n)..." You ran straight to him, panting softly as he looked towards you. "Thought I would see you here. Glad I did come here... otherwise I would've been lost to not see you."

Your cheeks turned warm as he started to say those words. How hard can a heart beat from falling deeply in love? If there was a limit to that, your heart would've reached its limit. The pounding practically muted everything around you- if it didn't involve Todoroki, it didn't matter to you at all.

"Training?"

Quickly, you snapped out and gave a nervous chuckle. "Y-Yeah. Who are these people with you? Your classmates?"

Todoroki shrugged his broad shoulders as he smiles. "Unfortunately. I had to bring them along with me. They were getting... too suspicious of me."

"Suspicious?" You asked, tilting your head like a little puppy. "What have you been doing to them? Burning them whenever they make a comment you extremely disliked? Or perhaps freezing them for playing a terrible prank on you?"

He chuckles softly, stepping a few feet away from the lapping waves. "Oh, I wish. But I actually don't hear any of those types of things. More like... gah, I don't understand how those rumors began to spread... I really, really don't understand. I swear I kept it on the down-low..." Todoroki began to shake his head, putting his fingers to his temple. "Either way, you don't want to get involved with my business."

"Come on, you got me curious now, Shoto."

"Follow me then. I rather not... say anything near them. They are chaotic as much as they can be- hurry, they're not paying attention to us." Todoroki says softly into your ear as he grabs your hand and quickly sprints across the shore.

Following after him, you couldn't help but release a small cry of happiness as you reverted back to this child-like mindset. The sand almost felt like it was trying to beckon you back to your present time, but with Todoroki's help, you kept on running forward. A cry of Todoroki's name fainted as it seemed to fallen behind you. You didn't know where Todoroki was taking you, but you didn't mind it. He kept running forward, which you finally caught up to him and ran side by side.

Todoroki gives off this smile that warmed your heart. Your cheeks quickly became sore from smiling from ear to ear. The pain from that... it was worth it. Everything really seemed to... fade away...
