Keefe is an empath (This one needs subsections)

He can feel what she does

So everyone that's friends with Sophie is very understanding and empathetic for her and all of their problems, but no one really gets it, all except Keefe. He literally feels what she feels, all her regret and guilt and sadness and anger that's all bubbling up inside her that she forces into a knot. He feels it all, and he is the only one that can really understand what she's going through. (Just a little thing to add to that, every time Sophie talks to Fitz, she feels a huge amount of rejection. Remember when Fitz called Sophie his sister? Keefe knows how horrible she feels when Fitz does that, but he knows the best way to handle it is to let things play out and just be her friend for now, because he's Keefe. (Also Keefe feels the same whenever Sophie pushes him away so there's that))

He legit makes her feel better

When Sophie enhances Keefe, he sends those calming blue breezes into her mind that actually make her feel better. Think of if they were in a long-term relationship (AMAZING!) she would obviously get super stressed and anxious and he would always be there for her to make her feel better, in a way no one else in their group can.

Heart vs. Head emotions

Ok, this is pretty much the biggest point I have on this page. At the end of Lodestar when Keefe and Sophie were rescuing Mr. Forkle from the building, he held her hand to try and calm her down. And he asked her why he got a ton more emotions from her, and she explained how she developed as an enhancer. He said "So, what I'm getting is like an even clearer reading of your emotions?" Once she confirmed she saw him smile. SMILE. Why would he smile if he knew that deep deep down she liked Fitz? In Nightfall when they were talking about his embarrassing favor towards her, he was talking about how she can take her time and doesn't have to rush it. HE WAS TALKING ABOUT FIGURING OUT HER HEART EMOTIONS. He explained to her in Nightfall when they were sitting with each other and she told him what happened with Dex, that you aren't really aware of heart emotions, and to some extent you have control over your head emotions. Dex didn't really like Sophie, he just thought he did. What if Sophie LIKES FITZ IN HER HEAD BUT LIKES KEEFE IN HER HEART! AGGGGGGGHHHHH! Did you notice how in Flashback Keefe was giving her lessons while she was getting better but once Fitz woke up he kind of stopped coming. What if he's trying to push them together so they can break apart faster? I mean, he's not actively trying to set them up, but he's letting them have their space and alone time. In Flashback, I guess they're a *eyeroll* "thing" but they haven't actually kissed yet. That was what activated Dex's realization of his heart emotions in Nightfall. Maybe that's what they'll do and she'll realize how much she actually loves Keefe.

Keefe needs Sophie

Sophie is always the person that talks him out of all his stupid ideas. In fact, Sophie is the only one that can talk him out of all his ideas because he only listens to Sophie. For a reason. That's right, I just used italics!

There is plenty of chemistry

Keefe is constantly teasing Sophie, but, let's be honest, it's just flirting. C'mon. Get your head out of your ass. BTDubs, Black hair and teal eyes with Blonde hair and brown eyes vs blonde hair with blue eyes and blonde hair with brown eyes? Me personally I don't like black and blonde hair together, but that's just me.

Keefe does everything for Sophie

Think about it, he joined the Neverseen because he thought that was the only way to help Sophie, by getting on the enemy's good side. In hindsight, it was a good idea, he just didn't think it through all the way. In Nightfall when he challenged King Dimitar to get the charm, that was for Sophie so they could get her parents. In Flashback, there were multiple times where he was helping Sophie, like when he taught her the skills training, and he even knew when it was time to back away when Fitz woke up. (Which is a whole other point I'll bring up later). All of his stupid ideas that he thought would work, were all really for Sophie.

Sophie and Keefe share everything together

Keefe only really talks with Sophie about his family. He doesn't share a lot of that with anybody else. He also only seems to have deep convo's with her, too. She always describes him as this little, lost, broken boy when he shows that side to her, but IDK if anyone else in their friend group has seen it, maybe Fitz, but probably not because Keefe would think that Fitz wouldn't get it, which he wouldn't. Sophie hasn't shared much of her human life with anyone, including Keefe, but he was her #1 supporter when she needed to find her family in Nightfall.

Sofitz might not help with the cognate stuff

Everyone on the Sofitz side is arguing that Sophie choosing Keefe would be horrible for their cognate relationship, and that might be true. But one thing is certain, it is that if Sophie chose Fitz for the long run and it didn't work out, that would cause permanent damage. If it was either choosing Keefe before, or choosing Keefe after, it would be a hell of a lot easier to pick Keefe in the beginning. Maybe Sofitz will work (it won't), but being together and breaking up would cause irreversible damage to their cognate relationship.

Sofitz is only materialistic

When you think about it, Sophie only likes Fitz because he's hot. When she first saw him, she didn't know him but had an immediate crush on him. Another reason she liked him so much right away is because Shannon said that like 99% of elves don't like humans, and seeing a super hot elf for the first time might finally give her the butterflies she never had before. Anyways, if Fitz wasn't hot, she wouldn't have liked him at first sight and she would've gotten to know him as a FRIEND, and liked his personality as a FRIEND. If he wasn't hot when she met him, she most likely wouldn't have even started liking him in the first place.

Fitz isn't necessarily as considerate

Fitz takes out his rage on Sophie

In Exile when Aldens mind was broken, who was Fitz blaming for it? SOPHIE!

In Flashback, when Alvar revealed that he WAS lying the whole time and he had the chance to kill him, who did he blame? SOPHIE! And he blames her for a lot of stuff, but he acts so cold to her, he can't hold her hand, he can't even look at her for frikin gods sake. Think about if they were in a long term thing, he would obviously get mad a lot, and I'm definitely not saying that Fitz would abuse her, because he is NOT that kind of guy, but it could get to a very unhealthy point, and think of the effect on Sophie. Not good.

Fitz is always "woo"ing at Linh

He doesn't even take the time, like Keefe might I mention, to stop doing what is obviously like a slap in the face for Sophie. How does he feel when Sophie doesn't push Keefe away when he teases her? That's how she feels all the time when he does stuff like wooing at Linh's water tricks. This time, Fitz needs to get his head out of his ass.

Fitz is honestly very vanilla

Ok so you're prob like woah woah woah insulting but hear me out. Fitz has never really gone though much in his life (except for exile but that was only for a couple weeks so ya.) Sure he's kind and smart and stuff but otherwise, what's so special about him? And now you're like well what's so special about Keefe then dummy well I'll tell you. What's special about him is his heart. He knows what Sophie is going through and he can relate it to himself while keeping in mind that she's going through so much more. He's just this tiny lost bean and Sophie is pulling him through. He goes through so much with his dad and he uses humor as his way out of the dark he goes back to every day after school and pretends none of it is happening. He's so strong, and the only thing Fitz has ever had to go through is getting along with a brother he doesn't like.

I know this was kind of short and had an abrupt ending but I didn't feel like finishing what I wrote a year ago.
