School is calming down now so that means that I'll have more time to write but I need more ideas. I have more but I don't know what to put leading up to these parts. Leave a comment with some suggestions and I'll see if I can incorporate them into the story.

Brianna’s POV:

*Friday continued

We arrived back at Marcus’ house about twenty minutes later, due to traffic. “Hey…tell me about your date later.” Marcus screamed as I got to my car. “I’ll call you tomorrow and tell you all about it. I promise.” I didn’t have any time to talk, so I shoved my bags in the back and pulled out. I arrived at me and girls’ house about a minute later. I was driving like my life depended on it. When I parked my car, I grabbed all of my bags, which was a lot, and ran into the house to get ready. I heard the girls talking to me but I didn’t have time to talk. Once I got to my room, I locked my door, slipped outta my clothes and look a quicker shower than usual. Vanilla, oh how I missed that smell. I wrapped a towel around my body and a towel around my hair. I threw my old clothes into my hamper and left the bathroom. The cold hair enveloped me when I left the bathroom. I really wished I didn’t leave the bathroom; I really don’t like the cold. “Bri! Open up!” I really need to put a sign on my door. I swiftly opened the door and there stood all the girls with their materials. Since when did they all wanna help? I thought it was just Becca, Jill and Chelsea. “Well, you gonna let us in or what?” Becca’s sarcasm is a great thing to open a door to. I moved outta their way and watched as they all set up. It was like I had my own date prep team, and I’m grateful. Jill was on hair, Becca, Chloe, Tianna and Chelsea were on makeup and nails. I can’t believe it takes four people to get me ready. I need serious help.

“Can I get dressed first?” “No, we need to get your hair done first, then makeup and then you can get dressed.” I guess Jill really gets into things like this. I simply shrugged. “Sit in the chair.” Jill said sternly. Should I be scared? Because I am. I didn’t want to make her angry, so I sat in the chair. “You don’t get to see what you look like until we’re done.” Chloe said with enthusiasm. I nodded and Jill got to work. She seemed to know what she was doing so I trusted her. She quickly blow dried my hair, brushed through it and then started to straighten it. My hair is a lot to handle.

After what felt like forever, Jill finally got around to curling my hair. I don’t know whether or not it looked good but by the looks on the girls’ faces, it looked amazing. “So, how does it look?” I had to ask, I was curious. “You’ll just have to wait and see. Be patient.” Tianna said reassuringly. I went with what she said and relaxed back into the chair. After Jill was done, Becca, Chloe, and Tianna were next. “Please don’t cake my face. I’m too young to look like an oompa loompa.” I must say, I’m quite dramatic when I wanna be. “We know, natural is how we all like it. You’ll look like your normal gorgeous self.” “Aww, thanks T.” “Now, stop moving.” I quickly nodded and sat still while they did what they do best: makeup.

Tianna applied eyeliner to my upper and lower lashline before topping it off with mascara. “Oh my god, your eyes look absolutely amazing.” Chelsea said. “How? They’re just eyes.” I’m not really a makeup girl so I don’t really know about all this stuff. “They make your eyes standout. It accentuates your eye color. You’ll see when we’re done.” Chelsea said. I continued to let them do what they do best. “What color are you wearing?” Tianna asked. “Light blue. Like a baby blue.” After I said that, they all gave each other knowing looks. “We’re gonna give you a quick smokey eye and then your eyes will be done.” I muttered a simple mhmm.
