Chapter 3

Edward pov

Yesterday I was gonna tell Bella about my true self, about what I really was. I was gonna tell my darkest secret a secret that only me and my family know about because it involves them to.

I was gonna tell Bella because I truly believe I'm deeply in love with her and I hated lying to her about it. Bella is my life where she goes I go. If she gets hurt I'm hurt. She's my everything my other half. She my soul mate.

Today I'm going over to bella's house to tell her about me. I'm really nervous because what if she doesn't except me for what I am and leave me. Even though she's a mermaid I don't think she would want to be with a monster like me. What if she hates me for lying to her? But she sorta did the same thing so......either way I'm still nervous.

I just pulled up outside Bella's house. I got out the car and knocked on the door. Bella answers the door looking like a goddess in a pink silk robe. I wanted to take her right here right now but it's to much of a risk I could hurt her even kill her. And I want to wait till marriage.

"Hey Edward come on in" she said with the cutest smile ever.

"Thanks are you here alone?" I asked

"Yes why" she asked looking confused

"Because I have something important to talk to you about"I said nervously

"Edward what is it" she said closing the door and gesturing for me to sit on the couch with her.

"Bella do you remember yesterday when I said I had something to tell you and I would tell you today?"i asked

"Yes" she said looking confused

Well there's no turning back now. "What I wanted tell you yesterday before you told me your secret is that I'm a vampire"I said looking her deep in the eyes.

Bella pov

Edward came to my house today and told me he was a vampire and I wasn't sure if he was messing with me from yesterday because he had a serious face on. So I just sat staring at him because if he was messing with me I would be so pissed.

"Please say something" he said nervously.

I knew how to tell if he was lying. "If your really a vampire prove it" I said

"Alright if you insist" he said getting up and running to the kitchen Very fast then he came back with one of the chairs from the kitchen table balanced on his pinky like it was as light as a feather. " Do you believe me now"

"Yes" I said after picking my jaw up off the ground

"Are you okay? Do you hate me and want me to leave?" he asked looking down

"Of course not I told you I care very deeply for youEdward Cullen and always will no matter what you are. You won't get rid of me that easily" I said lifting his chin up gazing in his honey golden eyes.

"Really I care for you very deeply to"he said lovingly.

"Edward I have some questions for you" I said

"Ask away?" he said

"Do you drink blood?"i asked

"Yes but only animal blood. That's why me and my families eyes are golden we call ourselves vegeterians and if we drank human blood out eyes would be ruby red" he said smiling

"One more thing beside the basics being very strong and the inhuman speed what else can you all do?"i asked more excitedly

"Well when some vampires are changed they get a gift and in my family three of us have gifts"he replied.

"Who has the gifts and what are they?" I asked bouncing up and down like a three year old on a sugar rush.

"Well me, Alice, and jasper have gifts. My gift is that I can read minds, Alice can see the future but it's subjective and based on people's decisions and jasper can feel and control others emotions. Also I can not read your mind" he added.

I was so relieved that Edward could not read my mind because then he would know all the naughty thoughts I have about him. I mean you can't blame a girl he looks like a god.

"Edward I'm so glad that your an vampire and live forever and don't age because neither do mermaids and I don't want to live without you. Your my other half"❤️I said planting a soft kiss on his lips.

Edward deepen the kiss and made it was a full on make out session when he pulled away he said

"your my soul mate and I would die with out you but you know you can't tell any one right" he asked

"Yes I know but can I tell Honey because she a mermaid to" I asked. Me and Honey don't keep secrets.

"Yeah sure and make sure she keeps it a secret"he said in a serious tone.

The rest of the day me and Edward and watched tv and talk and kissed some.
